Front desk guy was not nice and courteous at all. I left a item in the room and the guy said nothing was turned in. I then ask if he can ask the house keeper to see if she/he may have. Then he tells me that they just throw it away if it's not turn in and then pointed at their sign. I came back the next day and they have no courteous at all.

This hotel is what it is - VERY “cut-rate” for what you pay, and I wasn’t expecting much. However I at least expect it to be less challenging to stay there and use the bedroom and bathroom. Terribly cramped, insufficient counter/table space, very noisy bathroom, and malfunctioning faucet in the shower.

Very small but functional room. The room seemed to have had some upgrades to it, but failed completion of those upgrades. The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, the air-conditioning worked, the refrigerator worked, and the TV was modern and worked. There was also a small microwave, but I did not use it, so I cannot say anything about it one way or the other. The bedside phone did not have a dial tone, so I was unable to contact the front desk when I was having trouble with the people upstairs from us. The window had modern large slat shutters, which I really liked - much better than curtains that never seem to close properly and always seem to collect too much dust/dirt. The floor was tile, which I also liked because it means years worth of filth isn't collected under your feet. The only downside is that is can be quite cold on bare feet. There was a small table and two chairs. There were very nice pot lights in the ceiling with light switches on either side of the bed to control them, instead of bulky lamps. The glaring failure of the room was in the bathroom: the plaster/drywall might have been better as tile, since it was crumbling in several places, and the bathtub was old and gross looking with chips in the porcelain, rust, and overall just a dirty, grimy look to the bottom of the tub. The sink looked modern, but that seems to have been where the bathroom upgrades ended. The walls of the room were thin, so overhearing the neighboring guests was a problem. When there was an all night party in the room above us on our 2nd night, reaching someone at the front desk was impossible. I had to call the online company I made the reservation through to advise them of the problem, and even they could not reach anyone at the front desk. Even as we were checking out, the room upstairs was still going: talking, shouting, banging, crashing, stomping around... I did advise the manager of this as we left, and he turned to someone else and told him they needed to be kicked out. That is all well and good, but that does not fix my problem. I spent the entire night sleepless and no offer was made to refund any portion of the money for that night, or to compensate us in any way. We had stayed there 2 nights, and my expectation was compensation only for that one night. I again contacted the reservation company, who spoke with the manger, but the manager refused any compensation. The quality of a room is important to me, but customer service is even more important. With the inability to reach anyone at any point during that night to address the issue, and ultimately not being offered any sort of compensation for a night without sleep due to that party upstairs, I feel like this hotel let me down. I will NOT be staying here again - or any other Rodeway Inn.
