Half of the Equipment are broken
Tiffany Branigan
Sep 19, 2022
Since my last visit this place seems to be only getting worse. Almost all of the jacuzzi buttons are broken and running on their own or not working at all. Kids running around unsupervised it was more of a play ground than relaxation space. They need to fix what's broken or close their doors.
The hotel is a separate location. Look for The One Boutique Hotel at 137-72 Northern Blvd Flushing NY. Spa Castle and The hotel share common ownership. There are daily free shuttle bus between the hotel and spa.
Nothing will stop anyone from giving you a quick flash or an unexpected come on once you make eye contact or communicate a friendly gesture while inside one of the many unique saunas.
Friday is actually a very chill, slow day. The earlier you go, the better. On a Friday, things don't start getting busy or hectic until around 1 or 2pm. By 5 pm it's a mad house.
Go on the website and check out menus and go there with an idea of spending 4hrs or more and what foods or interested in purchasing and treatements or nothing and make sure to bring an empty water bottle to refill for water, while u there and relax with saunas and pools and that's all. Don't forget to go on Groupon.com for deals by Spa Castle Location.
Kids can basically go everyplace. However, the saunas might be to hot for them. The pool seems like the only real area that they would enjoy. Maybe kids above 10yrs might enjoy the sauna. Get a groupon deal because kids pay as an adult.
Outdoor pools 2, indoor pools 2 top floors...might be 2nd floor there's hot tubs...5 n sauna....just go there you won't regret it!!! Just bring a credit card to pay for everything...go into Groupon app to get discounts...have fun!!!
Yes, but you know about locker rooms...there are male and female separate areas...both of which lead to nude only areas (and also upstairs to the clothed area)...so long as you're not a stickler about nudity, y'all will be fine.
Wrong. To gain access to the pool area you still have to pay the general admission fee. $40 on the weekday and $50 on the weekends. Search for discounts on Groupon.
It's like every other Korean sauna/spa place. The males have a pool/shower area in the locker rooms and yes you have to be naked. No bathing suits in the all males pools but im usually alone in my own 6x6 heated pool because they hac3 like 10 small pools down there. Who ever said you'll witness gay play in the locker area is wrong. I been going there for years. The place is getting old and falling apart with lost of stuff broken or not working still love spending the day there just enjoying the saunas and pools

If you are doing a couples massage it can run anywhere between 2 to 4 hundred dollars depending on the amount of time and kind of massage plus the admission fee is 40 per person you are looking at nothing under 500$

Not sure, you got to ask them or do some research.
Free to get a set of uniform, and all the sauna room and outdoor pool, everthing else you have to pay, also, this place will not provide a large towel like the other place, you have to pay to get it
You will get a better entry price if you use the Groupon, BUT, once you're in there, the drinks and food are heinously expensive. Everything is paid for using your bracelet number and the total barely flashes on the screen for a moment, so it's hard to keep track of how much you're spending. It's done that way on purpose, to make you spend more. Don't go unless you've set aside around $300 to have a decent time. Otherwise you'll have spent $50 just to sit in a crowded pool.
The main floor saunas are coed and you need to be dressed with their uniform on top of your bathing suit. There are more saunas in the women and men bathrooms, those are sex specific and most people go in naked, I guess you can enter with a bathing suit too but, not sure.
Its marketed as a family place and I saw plenty of families there. However, something to be aware of - there is definitely nudity in the locker rooms. If the kids are not mature enough to handle that I wouldn't bring them. Also, when I went last weekend there was a woman in the coed outside pools only wearing a sheer coverup with no swimsuit underneath... you could see EVERYTHING and the staff did nothing about it.
How come I can not speak to no one¿ I’m trying to ask a question because it is raining and they said press a number and I am pressing it, it’s not working!
U dont need a reservation for a general spa entry, when I arrive you could reserve your massage or u can make reservation for facials or massage ahead of time
What time is the rooftop pool closing tonight 3/1/19 ??? I was there 2weeks ago after driving from fats away because no one answers the phone to ask a question. To find out that they closed 3 hours earlier for matienece on a fri night really

All payment information is posted on the page. You can also call the desk for more specific information
It was cold and the salt hurt you're feet. But when you finally get into that water. It was all worth it. I would suggest be in swimsuit already before you step outside
Driving time is between 30-50 minutes depending on traffic and your selected route. Public transportation will take at least 1hr30minutes depending on which train is closest to you. There would be a couple train transfers and a bus.
I would Uber if i were you.
I was so relaxed after I left that driving and paying attention was torture!! I just wanted to lay down and chill. Plus my guest was no help. Uber, uber, uber.
There are different packages deals online or at the lobby for purchase that include massages, nail salon ect. Just read carefully what is it u r looking for... book appt in is needed upon arrival
You might be able to call and book services (I've never tried) but to book services when you get there go to the second floor and there is a desk directly across from the stairs to the women's locker room where someone will be able to help you book.
NO cellphones in the locker room and bathing area. Bathing area is required full nudity and they do not want any issues with customers being photographed or recorded while nude. Same as locker room (people walk around nude to get to their lockers from the bath and to change). You're free to use your phone anywhere else.
There's one area where cellphones might be ok - it's the lounge area by the stairs, but reception isn't the best down in the locker rooms.
There is an all nude pool inside on 1st floor(optional). The third floor has an indoor AND heated outdoor pools which DO require appropriate clothing on.
They do! Prices are ridiculous and their rules say you can only get one drink per person tho.. you can't buy drinks for another person, otherwise they revoke your right to drink too.
Do you bring a bathing suit to wear? What are the outfit requirements?
Heather Charles | Sep 25, 2019
Sky M | Sep 25, 2019
Yes, I recommend to bring a bathing suit if you are going to swim in the pools on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They do sell swimsuits, but bring your own. Also you can change into the swimsuit when you like and also change out of it. They provide clothes for girls pinkish color and boys blue color; shirt and shorts. That's what you are required to wear while at the spa. Weather it's eating, resting or in the saunas.
Groupon had a sweet deal 29 bucks mon thru thurs but that has now ended. 40 weekday 50 winds now
**if you buy on groupon you MUST wait 24 hours to redeem it.
Watch fine prints
Right after you pay, you walk into the locker area which leads to either the nude part or you can bypass that and go straight upstairs to the general area
You will still have to call to schedule an appointment. Check online to ensure your calling the right number. I went 2 weeks ago and got through to someone quickly. Also try calling in the morning. Hope it helps.
No, you must bring your own...go Modell's, Target, or Marshalls....get one...everything there is expensive. Eat before you leave your home...no outside food allowed...in all is Awesome place to relax and get a nice massage....
Weekday (Monday through Friday) admission fee is $40 per person, $25 for children aged 1 -2 years, and free for children under 1 year old. For Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, admission fee is $50 per person, $30 for children aged 1-2 years, and free for children under 1 year old.

It's $40.00/person Mon-Thur and $50.00/person Fri-Sun. I would highly suggest going through Groupon to see if they got any specials. I get my weekend tickets through them for $40.00 each. Hope you have a great time, it's a wonderful place!
Check out groupon for sales, sometimes they have tickets for $25. They have different prices for a variety of massages. Not sure of the actual entry price cause I shop on groupon. The last full body and facial I got cost close to $200. Bring that and a little more if you plan to eat at the food bars.
I have seen some people being there own towels. they do charge for slippers and extra towels. im not sure if you can bring your own slippers but Most people walk around the spa with out slippers. It's good to have your own towel when your drying off in the showers cause those small towels won't dry much.
The place opens at 8am to midnight, the other floors in the place open up at different times. The pools open up at 10 some open up at 11. Check the website for more information on other hours.
Also check Groupon for ticket sales
Yes they do honor Groupon... Its nice, just make sure you're not swindled into giving a tip when getting any extra services. My husband got a massage and was practically begged for a tip as he stood naked without a towel... But WHO BRINGS MONEY INTO A ROOM WHEN YOU HAVE NO CLOTHES ON!....Not so happy with the staff....
There are great nap spaces for kids too. Please be aware that the bathing areas are fully nude, though separated by gender. Kids who aren't comfortable in that environment can skip it and still have plenty of fun.
Hi! I want to know, if I buy the pass of the week to which it gives me access? Or is it just to have the right to enter? Do I have to pay extra for the pool area or how does it work? Because I've been calling but they take too long to answer.

You only pay the entrance and everything else like swimming pools and saunas are free except for the food and drinks, massages and items that are in the SPA
Regular price $40. They have a $10 discount late evenings. Additional discounts on Groupon and other websites, this is a weekdays price. Weekend is $10 more
You can breing your girls but on the girls side there will be naked girl because of spa castles noed pool but you can go upstairs to the bathing suit area
General Massages cost anywhere from $95 - $210 per person.
This is in addition to the entrance fee of $40 per person Weekdays (Monday through Friday) $25 for children aged 1 -2. And $50 per person, For Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, $30 for children aged 1-2 years, and free for children under 1 year old.
So how is this place ran, are theyre foreigners that run this facilities?
Are certain places you have to be nude?
Do they do body exfoliating (Korean way)?trying to find a spa to go to for ending my vacation, want to know how this place is ran.
Tina Huttner | Sep 25, 2018
Elvenbayne | Sep 25, 2018
Not sure if it's foreigners, but it's definitely legal. It's a 4 floor multi purpose spa, not a little massage place like the ones in the city. Most employees speak English, although some definitely it was broken English at best. There is no requirement to be nude. In fact, you must wear the shorts and t-shirt they provide in all public Co-ed areas. Attached to each locker area is a giant community area for bathing or showing, so in the area you will find ppl naked cleaning up or mingling in the hot tubs. Not sure about any spa services, but they are not included in the price. Hair driers are provided, as is shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as towels.
1st floor is the locker rooms, showers/hot tubs.
2nd floor are the several different sauna's , heated tables, a sleeping area for floor napping/quiet zone, spa, cold food buffet and some other drink and good options with tables to sit at.
2 2/2 floor napping room
3rd: community hot tub and outdoor theraputic hot tub/pool
Every thing except the nudity I can deal w.what's w certain cultures and having to be nude??are there any Korea spas that don't require you to be nude??
Can you wear a disposable bikini for the body scrubbing?
Tina Huttner | Sep 25, 2018
Tyesha N | Sep 25, 2018
You are naked during the body scrubbing. They exfoliate your entire bodies skin. That's hard to do with something on. I haven't seen anyone with any form of attire. You can call and ask.
After you pay the admissions fee, there is no additional fee for using the pools & saunas. However, there are additional fees for certain special services, massages, facials, scrubs, food and drinks.
The give you a t-shirt and shorts. No flip flops or sandals. You have to walk barefoot. They sell some flip flops inside. Not sure if they let you bring them next time you go
It's not a rumor. An elderly person did die in one of the pools. According you the police no foul play was involved. Don't know about the molestation though.
Yes. Indoor and out door and there is even an ice room(a great relief from sweating) in addition to the sauna the pools have jet streams and are heated
Well customer service by phone seems very bad as I've called multiple times and have been hung up on, after being told to 'please hold'. That's definitely a weak point to this small business.

It's just as bad in person. The place in general is wonderful. But the staff and management is far from satisfactory. I waited more then 3 hours for a manager, for me to have to search for one myself, who obviously didn't want to deal with anything.
No need to print out. Just bring the Groupon and scan the barcode at the cashier. NOTE: they don't accept newly purchased Groupon, all Groupon purchase must wait at least 24 hours before you can use it at the spa castle
