They were unable to fix my jeep so they recommended a place that could better diagnose electrical and ecm issues and didn't charge me for thier time. Very fair

Brakes were squealing on stop and was worried about pads getting thin or something worse. Stopped by with no appointment and they were able to look at my vehicle right away. Within 10 minutes they explained that my pads and rotors looked good and the squealing wasn’t a concern(possibly a stuck dirt particle that isn’t a concern). They said no repairs were needed and were extremely honest saying anything they would do wouldn’t be worth the cost or labor. I’ve never met such a genuine mechanic. Finding a trustworthy location in car repair is quite difficult nowadays but this business earned mine and will be my go to repair shop from now on! THANK YOU MIKE PALMER AUTOMOTIVE!

I've been to Mike Palmers multiple times now and will continue to do so! Each time I've been pleasantly surprised with the results and recommendations. I have never felt like I'm being upsold or lied to. In fact, they've recommended cheaper routes to resolve my issues going out of their way for it. On my last visit, they realized the issue was an extremely simple fix and got my car back up and running with no charge!! Talk about honesty and great service. I will always recommend Mike Palmers. Give them a shot. I don't think you'll be dissatisfied.

100% recommendation from me. Mike is really involved in the day-to-day business in the shop. I had a problem with a weird metallic sound during acceleration. It could have been anything from 10 min job to a complete engine rebuild. Mike diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and got my car back to the road in 30 min (it turned out that the metallic shield was rusted). Mike was very honest about the problem and didn't try to overcharge at all. I just moved to SLC and was scared of going to an unknown mechanic(I usually fix my car together with my friend who is a mechanic, but I didn't know any mechanics in SLC, and I also didn't have any of my tools). You can rarely find an honest mechanic nowadays. I will return to Mike for my future repairs.

I would call directly and ask for a quote, they are fairly priced and use above OEM spec parts.
