They are always honest and get the work done fast. It's important that I can trust them with the maintenance and repairs on my car.

They were great at communicating and really helpful in answering my questions. I am a returning customer and will use Steve’s again.

Went for an oil and got an inspection and scratches all over my hood I just bought but of course they mention it in there inspection as it being there. I’m not happy with that but tried it because of the price special I normally do all my work because of this reason. I’m not a return customer and won’t recommend them to anyone or even on Facebook.

Went in with some grinding noise in my car.Turned out to be my rear brake shoes has cracked. They also found that my radiator was leaking and broken as well. I probably didn’t need to get radiator done at that time, but I did to save myself down the road. Toby and Nathan are nice to work with. No one likes ha wing car problems, but when you do, you want your car back quickly. They got my radiator and brakes done the same day and my total was about $1900 (about $500 for brake shoes and the rest was the radiator, hoses, etc). I’m not sure how these guys compare price wise to others, but I use them for convenience and have overall had good experiences. (Last year my timing belt snapped in a different car and had to re-do engine ($5000, but cheaper than having to buy a car) they were helpful during the process that time as well.

If you have the traditional flat 4 cylinder the typical price range is usually between $2,000 and $3,500. If you like the vehicle and think it's worth fixing I would be sure to not cut any corners (cutting corners to save money is usually the $2,000 price range and often results in the same problem within a short period of time). Spending the extra money to make sure it's done right is worth it in the end.
When it comes to plastic splash shields the best practice is to simply replace them, there really isn't any other effective way to repair them. Feel free to call the shop at 801-466-2886 and they can help you get a free estimate, thank you for inquiring!
We certainly can! It usually makes sense to start with a free initial evaluation to get some idea of what we're dealing with and then we can advise you from there. Simply call and let us know when we can get you on our schedule.
Jo, we're happy to give you an estimate on your Volkswager Jetta, we simply need to put your vehicle through our free estimate process with one of our ASE certified mechanics. When can we get you on our schedule?
Gary, thank you for reaching out to us about installing a remote start system on your car. Presently we don't install these systems but Car Concepts in Salt lake City does. They run anywhere between $350 and $700, depending the system you choose and your particular vehicle. Remote starts usually don't have any adverse side effects on the ignition system as long as they're professionally installed, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. They offer a lifetime warranty on the system & install and a 1 year warranty on the remote. It only takes them about 2 to 3 hours to perform the install so you should be able to get the project done quickly. Their phone number is (801) 467-0212. I hope this is helpful and thanks again for thinking of Steve's Automotive Specialists!
Hello Susan, a water pump replacement will run between $564 and $872 plus shop fees and tax, depending on the quality of parts and warranty provided. This is also assuming that nothing else in addition to the water pump is needed. Most shops quote the lowest possible price up front to try and get clients in the door. We've found that our clients appreciate knowing there are options and being able to consider them BEFORE having the work done. Please let us know how we can help!
The labor for just replacing the radiator commonly runs between $208 and $266 before tax. There are other factors to consider so I recommend our free preliminary inspection. It gives our mechanic a chance to make sure we don't miss something that could save you time and/or money.
Most vehicles have 2 cooling fans and they both need to be operating correctly to prevent the engine from overheating. We offer a free preliminary inspection where we can assess the current situation and then advise you from there, with the multitude of possibilities I agree with Arnold, let's get it into the shop and then we can help you figure out exactly what's going on, thanks Luis!
