They run anywhere between $350 and $700, depending the system you choose and your particular vehicle. Remote starts usually don't have any adverse side effects on the ignition system as long as they're professionally installed, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. They offer a lifetime warranty on the system & install and a 1 year warranty on the remote. Hello Susan, a water pump replacement will run between $564 and $872 plus shop fees and tax, depending on the quality of parts and warranty provided. This is also assuming that nothing else in addition to the water pump is needed. Most shops quote the lowest possible price up front to try and get clients in the door.
