These guys charged us hundreds for pest control when we moved out because there were “spiders on the back fence” of the property lmao if you rent from them get ready for bogus charges.

I tried to book an online viewing. It's all automated, looked as if it was all confirmed. I didn't get into either of the two properties that I booked time to see. The errors on the links to get codes never worked despite my phone location being turned on. I finally spoke to someone and they asked me to take down another number to call another person, I just gave up.

I was pleased by the help and generosity through my application process. It’s hard to come by helpful people and it’s greatly appreciated!

Questions & Answers

This company is not useful for renting, they tell you our price and when you pay they put another price on you, I do not recommend it and that is what I paid regularly every last day of the month

Thanks for asking your question. In the interest of full transparency, the rental price is not an all-inclusive price. Residents can expect additional charges for things like utilities, lawn care, renters insurance, move out cleaning, etc.

Why must your credit/debit card information be supplied to schedule a showing? One has nothing to do with other.

Hi Brianna. It's for security reasons. If you think about the showing process, we are essentially granting access to an asset worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to a complete stranger on trust. In order to build this trust, we ask that you provide identification, and verify that identification with a vaild credit or debit card. You aren't charged of course. This is simply a way of ensuring that you will conduct your showing in accordance with our procedures and return the key upon completion. This "skin in the game" so to speak, disincentivizes bad actors who might look to take advantage.

Where do I put my application in

You can apply online for any of our properties. Point your browser to wolfnest.com and click on "search SLC rentals" in the upper right hand corner. That page will list all of our available rentals, and each property has an "apply" button in the lower right hand corner of the listing. **Please note: Be sure to review our rental application criteria and confirm listing availability before you apply**

Why would I need to give credit card Info to validate identity? Why not my actual government issued I.D.? What is the Authorization for, and how much do they plan to authorize? Respectfully, Lisa Mead

Hi Lisa. Great question. The problem with using a government ID is that it could be lost or stolen, and unlike a credit card, you can't simply deactivate it to prevent others from using it. The authorization should only be for $1, just to confirm the card is valid and not expired. While I can certainly appreciate the fact that it may sound a bit "scammy" to ask for a credit card, please understand that we are granting you access to an asset worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and need some assurances in return. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns!
