The old management, Rob Remus etc, were horrid!! In too many ways to list! The new management has been here since October 2020 and so far they are much better!!!!!. I AM concerned about the fact that new management took over in the middle of my (2nd 12 month) lease and there has been NO indication if they are going to Jack up the rent a lot - except they have been doing a great deal of solely cosmetic work (painting, lighting, etc) - so that scares my bank account! Also I THINK that new management has some different rules in their leases than old management - like # of pet, etc etc..… so what does that mean for us “hold over” tenants ?? (Meaning) New management is So-so about communication - but def better than old management! But I DO NOT PLAN ON MOVING ANY TIME SOON!! I love my apartment & the neighborhood! Update: So the new management has been in place for a while now, and they are okay. The public spaces are generally looking better and they are incrementally updating things- like we no longer have to "scrounge up" quarters for the washers - we can pay electronically, which is very helpful. But when you put in a maintenance request, they will show up whenever they want to (just ignore the "Prefered times" section), and they are odd about certain things (don't ever ask any questions of maintenance - they take that poorly), and sometimes they just ignore work requests for whatever reasons?? I still really like living here, and plan to stay - the positives still out way the negatives by far. Just be aware that management can be, um, I'm not sure the exact word, so I'll go with capricious...

Contacted multiple times to view an apartment. The property manager does not want to be found, nor does he/ she return calls. Moving on.

The Heaters only work sometimes. The appliances don’t work properly. Infested with Roaches . Holes all throughout the walls . The washer machine that’s advertised does not work. The windows are not sealed so when it gets cold it’s freezing inside . The exterminator comes once every two years . Overall, this place is falsed advertised and overpriced . Don’t go off Apartments reviews.

This place has alot of potential. I like the layouts, the bay windows, lots of natural light and good appliances as well. The rent is reasonable and the neighborhood is gorgeous and the building is close to public transportation. But I have to rate it poorly because management is so bad. This place is INFESTED with mice. I give a certain amount of flexibility with this because any complex will have mice, but THIS place. They are EVERYWHERE, probably because there are alot of little holes throughout the apartment.. They have an exterminator that comes once a month but he didn't show up when I put the order in. I am actively watching a mouse crawl into my stove as I write this. Next, the elevator ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WORK. They will advertise an elevator for certain but I've been here a year and it has only worked about twice for maybe two weeks at a time. I put in a maintenance request, they just cancel it and do nothing. So God help you if you live on the fourth floor and have to do laundry or bring in groceries, or if you have a mobility issue like I do that makes climbing all those stairs very difficult. make sure you bring an ADA accomodation to force them to do anything. Speaking of laundry rooms, they have one. It's coin operated but there is NO COIN MACHINE. Forcing you to go on journeys every two weeks to find quarters, so that's an outstanding waste of time and money. All these issues were present far before COVID, so I don't want to hear that as an excuse. Sigh, this place has alot of potential but Management has got to get on the ball because I fully intend to move next year because of these issues and I pay my rent EVERY month. I'm not paying for broken elevators and endless mice.
