Extremely happy that my time living here is over. Here is a brief summary of all the reasons that this property should be AVOIDED. 1. Maintenance is virtually nonexistent. I have been here for two years and have 5+ open work orders that have never been closed. Emergency maintenance is just an outside service that creates work orders for you (something that you can just do online yourself… which will get ignored because they don’t ever look at it). My air conditioning went out in the middle of a 90 degree summer and was never fixed. We had a ceiling leak in our apartment from November to June (when we moved out) that was also never fixed and caused water damage and mold growth in the kitchen and closet. Management did not address the mold whatsoever. 2. Almost every building has an outside door knob that is non-functional. Squatters have been seen multiple times in my building and on the property even though management is fully aware of the problem. 3. It is extremely difficult to contact the office. Your phone-call is directed to emergency maintenance after it rings several times in the office; there is no option for voicemail. They claim to be open on the weekends but they are NOT. On multiple occasions I have called once every hour of the day and no answer. 4. They are terrible at keeping any kind of documentation. They have lost both my lease and my lease renewal agreement. Their online portal is also flawed (not something you want when it relates to your money/payments). 5. There were minor issues with the apartment from the day we moved in. Minor issues are not that big of a deal, but it took months of emailing to get them fixed. 6. Pests are probably unavoidable for the most part being in a city and an older building. But there are mice, cockroaches, centipedes. Thankful that I had cats. 7. Management does not communicate information to its residence. In the middle of winter when the gas company needed to turn our heat off, management knew that it was happening and did not let us know – the only way we found out is because we called the office to get more information (even after calling we had to go down to the office and speak to someone to get the full story). The only positive thing about this property is that you get a parking space.

I lived here in 97-99 when they were transitioning African American people out by raising the rent to discourage Us from renewing the lease. It was actually well maintained and the washers were only 1.25 and 1.00 for 40 minutes. Management has ruined the reputation over the years. apparently the units haven't been modified from the 90s era as a few of my family members have moved there on my advice and left unsatisfied remarking the place is now a dump. That's a shame... it was always ugly on the outside but they used to be nice and well maintained on the inside.

This place is an absolute dump and management doesn’t care to do anything at all. Heat broken on the coldest day of the year, no one will answer the phone! “Emergency maintenance” phone line is really just a person that puts in a maintenance request for you. The office is not open on Saturdays, even though online says they are and management will try to tell you they are. Management will yell at you for calling the city to get things done that they refuse to take care of. Mice are abundant and management ignores requests for pest control. Laundry costs an arm and a leg, the laundry card reload machines were stolen two months ago and have yet to be replaced. The solution? Order a laundry card online (with an additional $5 fee each time) and wait a week for it to come in the mail. Management doesn’t keep records of anything and never know what’s going on, for example, when leases have been renewed and under what terms. Parking lot is pitch black at night despite asking for lights to be turned on. Apartments themselves are patched together poorly, very old, poorly insulated (thus expensive gas heating bill). There is zero communication with residents from management in any degree. The pool they boast having as an amenity is non-functional. The dumpsters are irregularly emptied and usually have another 2 dumpsters worth of garbage and furniture scattered around the dumpster that ends up blowing all over the parking lot. This place is terrible, not worth the price, space, or honestly even the parking spots. Would never recommend this place to anyone and cannot wait to leave here.

Very unresponsive management, no one cares to fix anything that you reported. Don’t fall for the cheap price. I regret moving in here.
