I would never recommend buying a 5K vehicle to a person in Bankruptcy. That is a much older and higher mileage vehicle that will be in soon need of major repairs. We then have a bad cheap car loan, and repair bills while still trying to maintain Chapter 13 payments. Those are buy here pay here type loans that will do nothing to grow your credit while in the 13. We sell a 2017 or newer, get you a real bank loan and have a vehicle that you love and also rebuilds your financial health while you work through the 13.
