One of the most interesting tours I've ever been on. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and did a great job of being non political while also presenting all the facts. I highly suggest this tour for anyone interested in US history. This museum was beautiful inside and out and I learned so many new things I didn't know before.

Really wanted to see the museum and house. Parking was a nightmare and not free as advertised. Have to buy tickets online. Visitor center guide was moving at the speed of smell. Several people waiting around for him to take care of them. He just got up and left the desk. He eventually came back. We wanted to do a virtual tour which are only once a month (website doesn't state this). After waiting around and finally getting the front desk guys attention we were too mad to keep waiting so we left. Should've been a smooth simple experience but as with most goverment ran businesses it was a total bust. Very disappointed.

This was selected as an activity by my granddaughter who is a history buff. We enjoyed the informative guided tour of the home. The background and commentary were quite thought-provoking. It was a nice experience.

I enjoyed the tour a lot. They did an excellent work restoring the historical accuracy of the house and preserving it. White House of the Confederacy is a unique place to learn about American history and plunge into the everyday life and work of Jefferson Davis and his family. Although our tour guide was great, I would suggest adding more content on the history & politics of the American South and reducing the amount of information about their everyday routine. Potentially, they could run several tours for those who are interested to learn about various aspects of that era. Their souvenir shop deserves special attention! Make sure to check it out because they have some extraordinary artifacts that are not so easy to purchase online these days.

Due to them using gall ink back then, which after time would bleed through the back, its possible to have bled to the point of looking like nothing more then a stain or nearly gone.
