Ellijay River House Bed & Breakfast

This is our 3rd trip here to this B&B! We are always welcomed by Keith & Karen with open arms. This B&B has everything you could dream of. The location is tucked away in a quiet, but yet historical little town of Ellijay, Ga. Alot of shop, everything is locally owned and everyone is so welcoming in the town. Hiking, fishing and park are close by. If you are looking for a stay made easy, affordable, delicious homemade breakfast with welcoming community this is your place.

The Ellijay River House Bed & Breakfast was beautiful, stately and elegant. Everything was thought out perfectly - from the gorgeous rooms to the dining room and the beautiful grounds overlooking the river. Our stay was a much needed retreat and was very relaxing. The owners Karen and Keith were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They explained the history of the house, and told us about activities in the area. They also made scrumptious breakfasts and desserts. We were spoiled by their generosity and warm hospitality and look forward to going back for another stay. - hopefully soon. Thank you Karen and Keith for everything!

So let me say this upfront, I’m more of a hotel guy because I sometimes feel awkward staying in an B&B , that’s just me but staying in the Ellijay River House Bed and Breakfast was such an awesome and beautiful experience, I will never stay at a hotel in Elljay. If you are looking for wonderful hosts, great rooms and just an all around perfect experience, this is the place to stay. Their breakfast are awesome and the atmosphere is incredible! The property is such a joy and relaxing that you never have to leave. If you do decide to venture out to the town they are in the middle of it, in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Also they are in short driving distances to all the local wineries and other quaint little towns in the area, this B&B is the real deal and so are the owners. In my opinion this is a must stay location.

What a wonderful weekend! Karen and Keith were fantastic hosts. We felt comfortable immediately. A very cozy home. We especially liked the tour of the property upon our arrival. The fresh baked treats in the evening were a very nice touch and the breakfasts were delish! Hope to return soon.
