Super fun I suggest you do the 3 mile for the full river tubing experience. The first mile is calm and relaxed the second mile it starts to pick up with small rapids and dips. The third mile is crazy fun with level 2 rapids it's like a river roller coaster. It's fun for all tubing experience levels. Side note don't wear anything your not ready to lose to the river watches, jewelry, fav flip flops ect.

I’m not sure why I’ve been going to Helen all these years when Cartecay is closer and the experience is 10 times better. The adventure experience was awesome with relaxing spots and rapids through out. The staff was friendly and the tubes had head rests. Loved it!

The water was fast!! We had a really fun day. We had a large group ages 9-adult and we all rate it 10/10.

This is my favorite tubing experience in North Georgia! The staff are amazing! Everyone is so friendly & knowledgeable. The river is so fun! It's calm, then there are some spots that are a little rapid. Towards the end, there is an area where you can just float & hang out. There's an area of deep water & it doesn't move. There are usually people there playing, sliding down the rock slide. It's not expensive either for a few hours of beautiful nature, pretty river & lots of fun!

I'm not sure. But I wouldn't take any chances. You can find the tubes online. Then get find the manufacturer and get the info from them. Maybe you can find one that fits your situation.
My most recent trip was 4hrs....thats with playing on both rope swings and the playing in the final rapid. Prior to that it was 2hrs with no extra stops.
No jewelry, no glasses, or anything that's not sinkable for a greater experience and all will be enjoyed... O and bring a guiding stick for navigating around large rocks or bushes...
They provide the rental and a shuttle service to and from the pull out. We saw people use their own but they had someone get them at the pull out cause you can't park there.
They do have trucks that bring things back up. Call ahead
I think it may be October I'm not a hundred percent sure tho. Side note: If you o to Groupon you'll get better ticket prices but you have to be there before 11:30 a.m. to use the Groupon deal and make sure you there early enough to check in it usually takes us anywhere from 20-30 mins to get checked in. I hope you get the chance to go I promise you, you want regret it.
I used a Groupon so it was $22 for 3 of us plus $3 a person for drop off and pick up.
Reservations are not required but if it's a large enough group I would call ahead
Yes there is, but if you're bringing your own kayak/gear beware. They will shuttle you up and leave your stuff unattended while saying they are coming right back for the gear. Then you'll sit at the top for an hour. They'll bring half of your gear. When you ask where your Werner paddles are they say they are still at the bottom (unattended) and will go back for them. Then you'll wait another hour to get your paddles back. The whole time they will be rude and act like you've done something wrong. Save yourself the headache, go in the off season and shuttle your own boats.
We went a month or so back...It is a great time for adults, but I would not take my 1-1/2 year old....I wouldn't take anyone younger than a teenager.
$13 if you pay cash...but look on Groupon they almost always have one
