My wife lost her California Real ID. How does she replace it?
AAA AWESOME! NO LINES When I go I barely have a wait & they help u out
It's not a public number you have to call the 800 number and ask if they will connect you
no idea 💡
You will need proof of residency (one or two utility bills) usually they charge a small fee for the license, and maybe a passport or a birth certificate. If you wanna know forsure, you can call any office and they will provide you with all the needed information you will need. 👍
Yes you can just go there and solve your issue.
I would check with DMV directly, I had a medical issue myself, I just brought an all-clear letter from doctor. Again- Call DMV directly for your personal issue. Good luck!
No. Would have to take a new picture if over 4years
Yes, definitely get there by 7 everyday. open at 8am M,T,TH,F. 9 on Wednesdays. Be prepared for very long lines!
Real ID takes two hours without an appointment. In the hot sun. Or waiting in your car. Always try to get an appointment time, and reduce wait time. Or you can surf the web while you wait for your turn to be called. Be safe and wear your mask.
Yes, you can go without an appointment. Go to the DMV website to find out what the wait time is..... 4 minutes at the time of this post 10:52 am 10 Aug 2020
I believe 70 years and older they had extended their driver license until next year. However you can go online and renew your driver license you don't have to go in person. If you want a real ID then you have to go in in person that's the reason why I went. good luck!
Yes you can.. ca.gov.dmv - Carmichael
How do I schedule an appointment my drivers license expires 8/20/1921
I think 30 days. If your Ukrainian license is not expired, i don't think you would get in trouble if you don't make that 30 day window.
Middle of the week is generally the best
Yes. It’s only the behind the wheel test that you have to make an appointment for.
Go to the field office they have tags there
You have to be in the testing room by 4:30pm unless you get approval from management.
a
Make an appointment, it's less time you spend waiting at the DMV than u not having an appointment.
If you call DMV Customer service 800 number
Your new marriage license and current driver license. Not sure if anything else but take a current bill just to make sure.
Call them to set up an appointment or wait line at your local DMV and get a number
I would go down there with all the paperwork that you have.
I was there very late in the afternoon and still was only there for a little less than an hour
Mine just came this week (a little behind, but it got here). I'd suggest calling if not there by end of June.
Go online under appointments when the office is open. There you will see stand-in-line. Click on that and they will ask a few questions and give u a number. That way you can stay at home while you wait.
No appointments needed but u can also do it online
You can change it online. No appointments needed.
If you go early in the morning around 730/8am they will give you a ticket with a time to come back... I was in and out in about an hour honestly!
Have u checked online,dmv com
Best thing is schedule an appointment so your not like matthew. In and out in an hour
It will be difficult but if you know the VIN number or license plate number you should be able to file a report with the police department
Not yet
Yes. I just had to get one day after new year. They give u a 2 day passes.
Yes, earlier the Better
Sorry. I don't have an answer to that. But I heard from a couple of friends, just to the insurance company.
Check this out please. Governor Newsom has signed a new order that allows seniors age 70 and older to renew their driver's licenses by mail. "Because of COVD-19, we have been able to relax that requirement. So, it allows us to extend this service so that seniors can renew online... provided they have a safe driving record," said Gordon.Dec 10, 2020
Check their website. I was trying to setup an appointment on their website, it was not available maybe because of the holidays. Try to do it after the holidays.
sorry i don’t know about it. but as i guess the must have it
They are not currently taking appointments. If you already had one, they will reschedule it for you. You can walk in but it's about an hour or so wait.
Yes they do
Go wait in a line at DMV and fill out paperwork if you have a real ID it should be simple. I just got mine and went to North ave dmv early had to sign in outside they gave me paperwork showing what I needed and had a time on it then you go away or sit in your car till that time. Then at that time you go up outside again and show them your info and they give you another number and they will send you three email as you get closer to your time. On the third text you go to the front door and wait till they let you inside. Its a long drown out system. After I got mine I did find out they moved the date when you have to have a real ID by 1 year so Oct 2021 because of covid. Good luck.
An extension? As in towards the expiration date or what? I don't think you can get an extention on the expiration date. I'd suggest calling them or looking it up on their website.
The website does not list tomorrow's holiday as a closure for DMV. I assume will unfold as a normal Monday office day at the DMV. Depending on which one you're going to Carmichael DMV on North Avenue has adopted a new system. You must have a cell phone. You get in line and when you make it to the check-in they give you a time to return back to another line. At which time you check in at that time let them know what you need done they give you a number and send you back to your car. This is where your cell phone comes in. You must be up to the front when you are 4th or 3rd in line to be called. As they do not let anyone in until the mechanical voice calls your number to a window at which time they take your temperature ask you a series of questions and then you go to the window.
Are u asking a behind the wheel driving test or a permit test? Yes you need a appointment for behind the wheel test and no appointment is needed for just a permit test.
You can order a replacement on DMV website. Or you can go to an office, they aren't doing testing for CDLs right now.
If you took your vehicle to a smog shop, then you should have received a sheet saying if you passed or failed. It should have been sent to the dmv also
If you go without an appointment, go early because they do stop giving out numbers in the early afternoon, appointment is recommended
I Believe you have to have an appointment
I have no idea. You need to either call DMV, go into their website or into their office which is open for appointmts.
Not good go somewhere else
Just go in and tell them you need to renewal are expired license fill out the paperwork probably have to take a test pay for your license and that's it
I think you can walk up to the tables
Download the DMV app. They update info here frequently.
Not sure but you check there website or call them.
From what I understand and what I've read they are not doing any appointments whatsoever. If you have an appointment they will honor that but no new ones are being made at this time. They're basically like the dental field right now they will see people but only on emergency basis. Expired IDs and driver's licenses have been given extensions. Revoked or suspended driver's licenses are considered an emergency and they are seeing people for that. Replacement identification cards are being accommodated with a catch... you have to provide what's called A reduced fee application. Download the DMV app and it explains everything to you there. Or you can contact Saint Francis on C Street and they can/might provide you the voucher.
I had an appointment & brought all my documents for the real licence & I was in & out in 15 min! That was even with a picture. I'm still amazed. Carmichael DMV was quick and friendly.
If it has been registered before, I don't think you need anything. Aside from money, that is. You can even do it online at DMV.ca.gov
Birth, passport or legal presence document. Proof of social security, card w2 or paystub. Two proofs of residence.
Class C $37 Visit DMV website for more details.
DMVs "system" won't let you renew before 2 months. You can upgrade or change something anytime but a upgrade won't change your expiration date. Long story short, no. You cannot renew unless you're within 2 months of it expiring.
https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/about/voterregistrationoptions
All of that you can find listed on the dmv site. But in general you will need proof of identity. Proof of citizenship, and proof of housing like a bill for utilities. You can find all acceptable forms of these listed on the dmv site.
I'm not sure what you're asking. Some kind of paperwork?
https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/dmv/appointments
If your DL is lost, stolen, or damaged, you must go to a DMV field office, complete the DL 44/eDL 44 form (the eDL44 can be completed online in advance), and pay a fee for the replacement. You should also present a photo ID. If DMV cannot confirm your identity, you will not be issued a temporary DL. If you are a minor, your parent(s) or guardian(s) must sign the application. If both parents/guardians have joint custody, both must sign. Once a replacement DL is issued, the previous DL is no longer valid. Destroy the old DL if you find it later.
The only cut off time that I know of is for the behind the wheel test. But on Wednesdays they are open until 7
I'm sorry, you've reached Google Maps, not the DMV. You'll need to contact them. DMV.ca.gov
You will need to have a Parent with you and go back to a DMV and request a duplicate
That request can be acquired by your personal physician, once you acquired the form just go to DMV. They will help you with process. There will another form you need to fill in, you can get it at their DMV website or just head to DMV.
They will probably have to login as you online, so you'll likely have to give them your information.
Closed until Monday and no Saturday
If you applied online you should have received an email with details. Otherwise double check the site again. You may not have logged in to check appointments associated with your account.
Fill out a form, pay some money
Yes, but you need special things if you want a 'real ID'
Yes
I agree with the previous statement. However, I recommend physically walking into the DMV to address the issue. And by the way, if you ever get pulled over for a tag violation it will cost you $30 to $50 just to get verified that you paid properly.
Veterans day is a Federal holiday for almost everybody, especially those working in government.
This one has got to go to the source, and I'm afraid it will require a phone call, but you can try www.dmv.ca just in case.
You may also be able to check online at their website
Check the DMV website there is a form that your doctor has to sign unless you already have that. You can either mail it in and wait a month or two or you can walk in
Not Sunday, ever.
Please do. It is in your best interest and is updated in 48 hours.
Yes....it can take many months, so plan ahead! :)
Your license is valid for one year after entering United States check with DMV and let them know they need to know that you're driving here
It's not a holiday, so they should be.
The ticket should have some area on it where it says you are not the driver. Hopefully you have some evidence that you sold the car. To the best of my knowledge, if you were not driving the car there's no way you could be held liable to pay a ticket
It will take much longer to get your Placecard. I would recommend that you go in to do it. Disabled customers will get a faster ticket than other non appointment customers try it. Of course it depends on how busy they are at that time.go early or late they close at 5pm
your legal status You born / immigrant (work permit) S.S.(if you have) Two proof of residence (your correspondence work)
They won't send you the sticker until you show evidence that you have done the smog check.
Don't go in to early and they will assist you. No more than an hour. But...still be prepared to wait 30 to 40 minutes. Time can vary from driver license or registration. Be prepared and follow any instructions you are given at Start Here. Fill out your paperwork. Ex. Your name, address phone vin numbers etc. They are not mind readers and need you to assist them to do their jobs. I know from observations that the customer slows the employee down by not reading and completing the simple questions asked of them.
Make your appointment online their call system sucks. There is a back log to get a appointment but shop around for to first available appointment any dmv will accept you in ca.
You can go to any DMV in the state but there is a mandatory wait time.
You can take the written test. .but for behind the wheel you have to go to West sac. Just do it all over at west Sacramento dmv
Some are Carmichael is not. Broadway Folsom and Roseville are. For more check the dmv.ca.gov website
They stop the class c testing at 430 class A at 330
Yes he can come, as a driver not as a instructor So yes he can give ride during test provide car
Depends on your age. You might have to do the written multiple choice, but they'll notify you. If you are over 70, you might have to take the driving test, but only if you fail the written test.
Sorry can't help. Have no knowledge on what documents are needed or valid. Suggest look at California DMV web sitr
This kiosk only accepts debit or credit card.
Monday thru Friday Saturday only 3 offices are open check website for times www.dmv.ca.gov
As of last week, they took check and debit cards. They did not accept credit cards.
It stays pretty crowded and busy
I think so. I did see a couple of kiosk looking computer terminals there.
Tomorrow is Friday yes Carmichael is open 7am ~5pm. Not on Saturday 60 offices are open ck dmv.ca.gov to find out which ones.
Give me the information on your DMV on North Avenue in Sacramento California what I got to do to get my free license or ID thank you this is jimmy L.palmerjr.1010196i is my birth date last
I think you should call them, but it will take couple hours, so better grab all your documents and go there and explain your issue, ask all your questions, doublecheck if they understand you correctly. And only then go home and wait for your label;)
No
The DMV will be closed for state holidays. Google the state holidays to determine whether they are open.
No back ordered
8 dollars
Yes
You'll have to take the written test, but not a driving test. It's best to make an appointment, I think. Dmv.ca.gov probably has all this kind of info.
Hi, you've reached Google Guides. We can answer questions such as "is there a parking lot". For specific questions about the business in question, I suggest dmv.ca.gov , though I suspect the question about the check will require a phone call. You can find the number at the site. Thank you, and have a good day. PS- Mr Gomez, I think you might want to keep financial matters out of the public eye in the future, for your privacy and safety.
Every car is different. It depends on the value of the car, so it's less each year. The only way you can know how much is the notice they should send about two months before it's due, or by going online. For online you'll need your license plate number and your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which can be seen through your wind shield on the outer bottom (driver's side I think) or on the door of your car in the part you can only see with the door open, there's some stickers there. The VIN is a really long number. Write those numbers down and then go to DMV.ca.gov. If you don't need to do smog this year you might even be able to pay it online. If you need to go to the physical dmv, make an appointment through the website.
Probably 9-6, but I recommend DMV.ca.gov for information like this
I'm not sure I understand your question, but let me try. Take your car to a place where smog inspections are done. Once the inspection passes, the results are automatically sent to the DMV. You can register your car as soon as the DMV gets that information.
When you get your driver's licence renewed there will be a box to check on the form. If that's not soon enough, I suggest calling them. Might save you a trip.
If you have an appointment, the wait time will be very short. Typically less than five minutes. You'll probably wait longer to have your picture taken after.
Yes! All kiosks accept credit and debit cards!
If it isn't there by Monday, give em a call. Yours is definitely late. I can't recall the time frame they give, but I don't think it's more than 3 weeks.
Sorry, not at this time.
Sorry, only personal checks are accepted at DMV office kiosks only at this time. All kiosks accept credit or debit cards and most accept cash.
It varies. Depending on the age and sometimes type plus actual value. A newer car could be up near 200, a 12 year old car might be only 28. You'll have to go, call, or visit www.dmv.ca.gov to find out what your registration costs. Oh yeah, price also depends on when you pay it. Discount for early, penalty for late.
I'm not certain, but i think no more than 30 days.
Yes! You can use your current registration card if you don't have your renewal notice.
Before you set out, go to dmv.ca.gov and there's a thing that will tell you the wait times at all the DMVs near you. Driving an extra 10 minutes can save you two hours of waiting sometimes. Best of luck!
You can renew cars, pickups, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles that don’t pay Commercial Vehicle Registration Act fees.
Yes. There was no fee when my daughter did it.
Go at least 20-30 minutes before because on some days people are waiting in line even before it opens
Hi, you've reached the Google Maps Local Guide Program. We can answer questions about parking, bathrooms, access, that sort of thing... But for questions about DMV *services* you'll need to contact them. They have a pretty good website at dmv.ca.gov . Best of luck on your test!
Oh geez, that's tough! I think you're just going to have to find out what the insurance company requires. If they can't answer that, hit up another insurance company about it. If they want a new customer, they'll tell you exactly what you need and how to get it. Best of luck.
You need to contact the dmv itself, and probably shouldn't post your vin
I'm afraid you might have to go back... give them a call (I know it might be very long process) maybe they will mail the sticker to you...
Check with them, if you filed a police report, maybe...?
Go to dmv.ca.gov and you can make the appointment online or find a phone number if you'd rather call.
I recommend you go into your local DMV office and complete the process for new stickers.
You may be able to, but it's only recommended to use the kiosk if you're a month expired or less.
Yes
Yes, an appointment helps a lot.
Yes, but I recommend making an appointment or you'll be there half the day.
Please visit dmv.ca.gov for specific questions about the DMV. Maps questions are more for questions like "Is there an accessible bathroom?"
I'm not sure what you mean by junked. If you registered non operational and now wish to be registered for driving it, yes, that can be done. They don't pro-rate it though. You'll have to pay the full registration. There won't be late fees added if you registered non op. If you just didn't register it at all, you can still register it now, but there will be late fees. HTH
You should call the DMV tomorrow morning to tell them it was stolen. I don't know if that automatically triggers a replacement, but the person you speak with will certainly be able to answer questions.
They used to be open on one Saturday every month. That has changed however. They are no longer open on any Saturdays.
Hours
Go to DMV
Yeah you can pay online for things you can do online. Although some things you need to go in the DMV for like replacement IDs and other things. You can also pay for registration at home most of the time, but some people don't want to pay the 30 bucks for the convenience fee I would rather pay it then miss a day at work that's just me though
There is no fast DMV. Check online to see if you can handle your business there first, otherwise go to the one in the Roseville farther. But much nicer
It really depends. Could be half an hour, could be two hours. I think the dmv.gov.ca has a map that shows the wait time at the various area DMVs. Often Roseville has a shorter wait time, but not reliably. Maybe someone else knows what times of day give you the best chance of a short wait time.
Yes.
Yes
All fees vary. Why? It really depends on registration, past due registration fees, owed money on registration and if it's a transfer. Me personally oi would not transfer of say i purchased for 400$. They will ask what's car worth say about 400 needs wrk done and if any fees are due for no registration on car then ask to fill out the form that you should not pay as you was in aware of these fees and most likely either you won't pay or they might just cut those fees in half. And you will be responsible for half fees past due plus fees for you being new transferred owner.
Yes
No they do not. They have there own in which their employees are very specific and can be a pain(especially for motorcycles). But there are only few chp offices thay will do inspections. So you will have to call around to see which chp has jurisdiction of ur area and book an appointment.
Supposedly you can but its more accurate if you call them.
No, sorry. You can renew and print your vehicle registration and license plate stickers on the spot, along with other transactions. See cadmvnow.com for a full list of things you can do at the kiosk.
Sure.
No. Mail drop is on fair oaks Blvd at the post office
7.30 - 7.40 am
8am but the sooner you get in line the better
I do have one why do you ask?
Call the dmv
You pay tax on cost of car if you purchased it privately. Gifting it to family is one small fee.
an acked?
