Liquid damage is common even if you didn't spill anything. Even humidity can damage the board under the right conditions. I had a power inverter board for my Samsung ....Rossman's stated they couldn't help and to try hi tech on canal street. I ended up finding my replacement board from a recycler in Vermont for $55 with shipping

They don't fix iPhones, but they can recover data from them.
Does your business repair other brands of phones? I have a Samsung galaxy whose screen is broken and from which I wish to retrieve some photos. If you do not provide this service can you at least recommend a trusted source who can?

I think Rossmann wouldn't charge you anything for that, just for pushing the cable back to its place.

Yes, we specialize in data recovery and have a lab on-site if necessary. We can usually re-solder the USB port and if not, jumper it in a way that we can directly wire into the controller on the board.
How far back in terms of machine age will you repair a MacBook? I have one that isn't working after I stupidly trusted a "computer repair" store in Harlem; I can't even get it to turn on. The last OS was Snow Leopard.

I have a pair of the somewhat infamous 2011 macbook pro models, one seems to have the vertical green lines that i have seen described all over the place and the other just powers down randomly, is there a reliable fix for these?

The currently specialise in apple based products but have been known to repair other items. You would be better off giving them a call.
If you have applecare plus on the phone, I would take it to apple. Love The Rossman Group, but that type of repair would be pricey, because OEM parts are so freaking expensive.
As time goes on the whole Apple line Will go like Dell was years ago with proprietary parts. And Apple does not sell parts. And people like Mr Rossman will be unable to fix Apple products. If you watch his latest video on YouTube where a customer takes his broken laptop in to Apple and they say it's a blown fuse . And you need to replace the board. Mr Rossman fixes a simple cap problem. Not the fuse. I would not buy any more a
Apple products. Since they lock out private companies like Rossman Group that are excellent on repairs of Apple products that they want to repair.

Hi. I have a surface pro 10 . Is it possible to run this machine without batteries and just by AC adapter like almost all laptops?
I just had an issue with its battery and removed it.

Not to my knowledge, you need a battery inside, even if it's dead. If you wanna go slim, go for a Lenovo ideapad or yoga (at least you can upgrade the storage and ram)

Repair may be possible, depending on what the underlying flaw is, but if it is in fact the CPU or NAND then repair is not economical - you're better off replacing the logic board.

Usually $325 to fix your existing board rather than replace it. Replacing it, the cost would depend on the configuration of your board - processor, RAM, etc.

I have a 2011 21.5 inch iMac that beeps 3 times over and over. How do I fix it. I already paid an apple repair to fix it and they replaced the 2 GB memory chips (4slots) with 4 GB memory chips, I now have 16 GB but also it now freezes and beeps.
