After 13 years they fired me. They claim I went in my own chart via Epic Hyperspace and for the last few days I have asked for documents and they have failed to do so. I have reached out to HR no response. I was told someone left me a voice mail but they did not. Now they are making it hard for me to get unemployment.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Absolutely horrendous treatment from both the nurses and the techs. Treated my brother vile after a terrible work fall, multiple injuries, and head serious head trauma. Nurses refused to bathe him after multiple requests. Nurses made disgusting comments about him having accidents in his bed even though he was literally incapable of using the bathroom on his own.— Made racist comments about him dating a white girl. One particular nurse after complaining about administering medication (her job lol) and arguing with my family stepped outside of our room to make nasty comments to her coworker about how we “don’t know where she’s from, she’s from Atlanta and she would clock off right now to fight us”. After countless horrendous surgeries, trauma, and pain— nurses still went out of their way to treat my brother and my family awfully. In addition to all these horrifying encounters, the surgeon himself did an absolute chop job on both of his wrists that ended up becoming infected just a month later. This hospital should literally not be operating at all. I’m actually traumatized from not only the fall, but experience itself with University Medical Center.

The wait to be seen is horrible along with the hospitality of Check it's administration. My child started having mental breakdown upon waiing to be seen 4 hours in waiting room to go back is too long for children 18 and under . I am angry disappointed and feel unsafe

Dr Baker and his team of students gave me a new hope for living a great life. Thx.

You can always call the hospital to get to scheduling department and ask OR set up your MyCharts account to keep track of appointments.
I Have Never Been Treated Poorly At This Hospital. Always With Respect, Professionalism And Caring. I Wonder Why Nurses Seemed So Incompetent To You... Maybe It Was Your Sh***y Attitude?
Yes they do. A cafeteria. Which sells hot food, salads, pizza and a sushi bar and. An area that makes sandwiches. Also they have PJ's coffee And they also have another area that sells ice cream.lots of flavors and waffle cone
Yes they will
No, social workers will help you get medical coverage for stuff you would need.
Let me reiterate what I was having a concern about. There is a Observation Floor that there main purpose is to observe you for whatever reason it my be! The staff in the Observation FLoor which a patient is assigned to a room is very unprofessional and made me feel unsafe! In no way or form have I encountered a Bad Experience with any of the Emergency Room Floor Staff, they are very professional and caring! This is from experience!
Type in UMC New Orleans Phone Number, that after you hearing the lovely computer voice go ahead and press zero, that will bring you to the operator if they are around at the time. Good luck! I highly recommend that you never have to spend the night there in the observation floor because all of the staff are very rude as if there doing you a favor!
You need to speak to a nurse educator/ call UMC regarding the requirements of a kidney transplant in louisiana.
To call a room directly, dial (504) 702-5555 and follow the prompts to enter the room number.
Call them during normal business hours and tell them you'd like to make an appointment.
Go to the clinic at the main entrance to the hospital on the Tulane St side
Across the street from the VA hospital
You should always consult your primary care physician for questions regarding your personal health. Each person and method of treatment is unique.
No, the hospital is located off 2000 Canal Street. A little bit down the street from the old Charity Hospital building.
That's wonderful to hear. Grandmas are extraordinary!
Hello. The Walgreens at University Medical Center is located on the first floor of the Clinic Building. Enter at our Tulane Avenue entrance. To check on your medication, phone 504-758-3718.

Hi Andrew, you can bring in flowers. We also have flowers in our gift shop.
Hi Linda, can you direct us to what you are referring to?
If you are planning an elective surgery it will be canceled. Call the Dr. office. I suggest not coming if it is not urgent.
Call 504.702.3000 and inform our staff that you need a translator to help you schedule your appointment.
Yes. Call and set one up. They would love to meet future doctors...
I don't think so
Well everyone has a certain tightness to how they like their clothing to fit, although they should be loose enough without ripping, lol
Ask for a supervisor. And get the names of all the bad people involved.
Hi Tiffany, please call our main line at 504.702.3000 and someone will be able to assist you.
I have the same problem, can't get anyone on the damn phone. All I wanna know is, do I need to go to registration to check in for the seminar or just go straight to the conference room noted in the letter sent to me????
I'm not sure. I'm sure they'll make every effort to make the patient comfortable even if it entails having a loved one sit near them.
You just needed to remind them that you didn't receive your results and you'd l like them. They also give you an after visit summary(AVS) with info on how you can register and access your records which allows you to view your results.

on the first floor of the hospital go to the financial reception area
You'd be evaluated by psychiatrists and if needed you will be provided with the necessary help required.
It depends. Usually It's fast just depends on the cases they have some patients are may need more attention and some are just in and put.
Hi Tiffany, you can call to confirm you appointment with your physician. Make sure you are also set up with our patient portal so you can view your upcoming appointments anytime. You can get more information and how to set up your account here: https://www.umcno.org/patients-visitors/mylcmc-health/. Thank you.

Call or log into your account if you have set that up.
Call the Hospital.. they will direct u
Go to the financial assistance office on the first floor. There are usually two very helpful ladies at the desk. Tell them what you need and they will direct you. You may want to drop by first and pick up the current paperwork requirements, as they change somewhat frequently. That way you can be fully prepared to meet with an advisor.
Call the medical center and ask. All you need to know is your name and birthday.
Agreed. Or just show up at the E. R.
Yes
Not anymore
All you can do is ask. If you give the doc's office enough time to fill the slot you're giving up, it shouldn't take a year to get in.
If you are asking about free care, the program you are looking for is Medicaid. The hospital accepts Medicare and Medicaid as well as most other insurances. The also have onsite staff to assist in applying for Medicaid.
Yes they care for all people regardless of where you live
They cant give out and info over the phone best to just go in
Contact pharmacy. If it doesn't work as for his nurse. She'll help
U habs to get everying from your pcp faxed over first
Yes go into the emergency room ares7
It is based on your income and needs.
Post your complaint on Facebook
What is issue Chris? Unless its an emergency yiu probably wont just walk into a clinic and see a dr. You must have an appointment. Once you have been seen the first time it is easier. Not knowing the questions you asked, I csnt help but it you reply maybe O can assist.
Also when entering emergency room to the left if you walk down go out the double doors Straight Ahead there's vending machine that has soda and snacks
Probably faster attention at UC. They'll refer you to hospital if the diagnosis warrants.
Do you have an appointment to get an x-ray done? Your doctor would need to refer you for an x-ray. If you are unsure, call umc for the requirements of getting an x-ray done.
Just tell what happened
You may need to contact the hospital for instructions about that.
You will need to call the hospital and transfer to the financial/ insurance department for questions about that. Or go to the insurance/financial department face to face to ask the question.
I'm sure they do, but scheduling for anything at UMC is a nightmare and takes several months to get in. You would be better off going to an Ochsner facility.
Very nice people
Enter from Tulane. The hospital has a parking garage structure - they will validate your parking inside (see any nurse).
Make an appointment.
That I would not know. Try going to the main entrance and ask them
Sorry I do not work at hospital only posted a picture
11am-1pm
Thanks, I was told going to the ER was the only way.
Financial aid is on the 5th floor. There's an application and items to turn in with it. Simple process and they are very simple.
You have to pull in the parking lot off of Tulane
