Great place to live if you want to live in downtown hartford! Everything is right there. I got a studio and loved the floor to ceiling windows on a wall with exposed brick. The most reasonable price around the downtown area- all the bars and restaurants are right there. The landlord is one of the best I've ever dealt with- extremely helpful and definitely tries to make your life easier/smoother.

Relative to other rentals within the city. Yes. It is 20% cheaper. but keep in mind, they are loft style, i.e. brick, with hi-ceilings. Units have BIG windows, but with carpet and linoleum floor coverings, and decidedly 1980-2000 style cabinetry and appliances.
My unit has shared washer/dryer in the basement with no hookups inside the unit itself that I know of. I get a $50/month parking subsidy to use at any lot I choose. I have a 1br unit in 417 church st (there are 3 addresses and I think each building is a bit different)
