They seem completely disinterested and not concerned for anyone coming in there and treat everyone (even if you are reporting a crime) like they are a problem or possible criminal. I’ve had better experiences with law enforcement in Utah than I have here in Boston.

(PHONE SCAMMERS USING THIS REAL POLICE STATION PHONE NUMBER - ASK BADGE NUMBER) I haven't had much experience with this police station, but I just received a suspicious phone call from this number claiming there was a warrant for my arrest. Since the voice sounded like a guy plugging his nose as he spoke, I was surprised to find that this was actually a police phone number. He put me on hold to transfer me to his supervisor. The "next" person had the same voice. He said his name was officer Morgan. They cited a license plate that was not my own and two addresses linked to it. They asked me to confirm whether or not I have been to one or more of the addresses. I decided to plead the fifth and say I needed to talk to my lawyer. He then proceeded to tell me I should talk to a criminal justice lawyer by 3pm today and something about needing to respond before the end of the phone call. I asked for his badge number and he immediately hung up. Recalling that some scammers can actually use real phone numbers to call people, I decided to call the police station back. I got a woman's voice on the other end. I asked if there was really an officer Morgan and explained that I thought I was getting a scam call. She confirmed there is no Officer Morgan and this is not the first time. They are aware of scammers doing this. In hindsight, of course, the police would not call a suspect to let them know there was a warrant for their arrest, lol. Always ask for a badge number. Treat the person on the other line with respect, in case it is actually a police officer. But be careful with what you say. Scam "artists" can take your recordings out of context. Don't confirm your information. Since this is supposed to be a review of the station, the officer was pleasant and responded well!

They rotate tow yards. Call the Boston tow line and they will know.
I haven't had that experience in United States, however, while I lived in Britain, a friend visited from Sweden borrowed my car and the speed camera caught him driving above speed limit and a ticket was sent to my address. I disputed the ticket and provided the name and address of the person driving at the time. I'm sure it should have no effect on you if you can prove that you weren't the one driving.
