Great park for the kids! Just wish the kid's park was a little bigger with more for them to play on.

One of my favorite places in Greensboro

Fantastic park. Lots of bike paths and walking paths. You can fish in the lakes, or take your dog into the dog park.

Great place to visit.

Ask the City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation.
You can try entering through the 1st Lawndale Drive gate, some miles after Food Lion. When you enter, turn left and there is a small parking lot near the lake where you can park after 5:00 p.m. Enjoy!
No clue. We visited Sunday 3rd and all good.
As far.as I'm concerned the park is closed to people that made it. Gates are closed, no more driving up to a nice spot and having a picnic with your family. Young folks use to drive through. Now only a handful of people can go there, walking or running I suppose. No worries they have a couple tables at the entrance where you can dump granny or handicapped. Even people that need a short walk stay away, your health don't matter. I guess they had to close to traffic because runners and walkers aren't hikers, they wouldn't stay off the road. Shame everyone pays for upkeep but only the few allowed. Let the dog swim, who's going to stop him, the cops on bicycles are mainly downtown. Sorry you can't go anymore granny, to bad Billy will never see it, his wheelchair won't go around the fence and he can't make the hills.
Just go to the Greensboro science center website and you can reserve reservations from there.
There is plenty of parking at Bur Mill Park. From there you can start walking on several trails.
Not at all, open to the public
No
Yes, there are a few good fishing spots throughout the park. I believe you do have to throw back the fish.
Hello, I hope you enjoy the park, it is a very beautiful place. Pedal boats rentals available Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (10 am to 6 pm) May through October 30. Cost is $5 for 1-2 people; $7.50 for 3-4 people.
The shelter that's close to the exit. Near the statues of the deers.
Call the city and ask.
The greensboro science center is right next to the park with the entrance on Lawndale. Good times.
There is the Copperhead trail which runs some 3.5 miles. There is also the skills course next to the Jay Cees Baseball field. Easiest to find access to Copperhead is from the Lewis Rec Center parking lot. The trailhead is in the NE corner of the lot.
