I love it here, it such a great place to really check out nature and my kids love it. I love the boardwalk because it allows me to bring the stroller for my toddler. It also has some information as you go along with my kids love to read! If your in need for some fresh air, a great scenic walk then head over here!!

Lots and lots of birds! Some turtles and frogs.
It's open during daylight hours. It's best to drive in and park in one of the parking lots. From there you can walk on the gravel road. Definitely bring binoculars with you. By the way, a four-wheel drive vehicle is not required, there is a well-maintained gravel road.
In the swamp no but on the side streets yes. Tons of people ride their bikes around there.

That is a terrible question. Ask if you can target practice at a wildlife preserve? I know you were just trying to be funny, but just in case this is a serious question then the answer is absolutely not. You can not shoot at a refuge, preserve, sanctuary, etc
There are some boardwalk trails thatbare wheelchair accessible. I think that it is a loop that is about a mile long.
As mentioned take the walk to the blind. Use the trail to the right. When you are walking out on the board walk over the swamp area you can see multiple turtles. Just keep looking. Good luck and enjoy.
