OMG what the heck happened, been going there for 20+years, haven't been in awhile so we ordered Saturday, bread was hard, meat dry, cheese, what there was, was on the bottom of the bread not mixed in like it used to be and to search for the onions, we used to be able to split a large fry, not anymore. Used to be my go to Philly place, so disappointed 😞

This sounds more like an accusation than a question, but I'll respond anyway. Of course no reasonable business owner expects employees to be automatons, etc. We as owners expect our employees to do their jobs during the time they are "on the clock". All employers have required expectations of their employees, which include rules and policies that must be followed. Often employees don't follow these policies and rules and get angry or offended when they are disciplined accordingly, i.e. a "Warning Notice" or worse. It is unacceptable when an employee rushes thru prep before the business has opened so he or she can take the last 30 minutes to talk on their phone. This isn't an issue of taking a break, it's an issue of the employee taking advantage of the employer by expecting to be paid when not working. Ultimately, the employer/employee relationship is a two way street, and it doesn't work effectively if both parties don't show mutual respect.
Philly's has moved, but they're still in Oakbrook Shopping Center. They've moved to the building next to Lowe's Foods. They should re-open very soon.
Out of an abundance of precaution we have kept our dining room closed, we have implemented curbside ordering in order limit customer's coming into contact with each other. We require before entering the building and our staff has a temperature check before each shift and aren't allowed to clock in unless they pass it. Like our customers all staff members have to wear face masks and we have hand sanitizer stationed throughout the restaurant for both customer and staff to use. We have upgraded our cleaning chemicals to include cleaners that specifically kill Covid related germs. Our staff sanitizes the store throughout the day and is constantly making sure it is as safe as can be.
Yes - new location in same shopping center.
Carolyn: We are closed from 2pm until 5pm until further notice. Once we all shifts fully staffed, we will be open from 11am until 9pm, Monday thru Saturday. I'm soooooo sorry for the inconvenience, but most of the staff that we have now are working 10-12 hour days just working these limited hours. Soon though we should be fully staffed. Pray for us!!1
They are opening tomorrow Friday the 30th.
Drove by no not open yet
The store moved 375 feet to the right, they are now in the Lowes Food shopping center.
Max, we re-opened on March 30th, though our hours are limited because we are not yet fully staffed. We open at 11am until 2:30pm, then again at 5pm until 8pm. Please come and see us!!!!
Phillys should be opening this week. You can check the Facebook page for the latest updates.
Per their voicemail message they will be opening at 11 a.m. on March 23rd in the new location.
Philly's has relocated in the plaza next to the new Lowe's Food. They are planning to open on or around March 15, 2018. The new location will be larger and nicer. Same food, same owner, same staff. They will now have a dedicated take out section. Can't wait....
They are in the new shipping center next to Lowes Food. On the side near the lawyers office.
They are re-opening next to Lowes foods and the dry cleaners. New bigger place! Whoooooo! Same shopping center
Well from experience the place is always packed. So eventually food will run out at some places. It is small it is always busy but it's the most delicious you will ever eat. Stromboli is one of their biggest seller and also the tastiest. Most of the times I'd like to get their somewhat early but definitely not too late to get a piece of that stromboli or calzone. But when I do I drink Dos Equis. LOL side joke. But one thing I do know don't underestimate Phillies they will make the best of your time even when they run out of certain food. I hope that your next experience at Phillies will be a better one than yesterday.
