It's such a pretty trail! Not gonna lie lol there's was something dead right at the start of the trail but it is in nature. On the way it almost seems like you're not going the right way and you're going to nothing but once you get there, it's so cute! There is a small creek, you can bring your dogs, there are PLENTY of poop bags and places to throw them. You do have to keep an eye out not to venture onto the bike trails but there signs lead the way. Another thing I like are the trail markers you can give to 911 if you get hurt they will know exactly where on the trail you are! Quite and clean!

In NC they are allowed access to any bike trail unless specifically mentioned and are not considered full motorized vehicles. Differs state to state but I think is fine at rocky branch.
