Being the mom of 3 plus bonus mom to 4, our blended family has utilized this facility on and off for years because Luzerne County does not have many resources to choose from. Some of the experience's have not been to my liking and wouldn't recommend their services because when you call to schedule they don't call back, certain employees are just flat out rude but there are a handful that were awesome but limited due to their employer, and their services are lacking (therapist don't see the kids as often as they should). With mental health on the rise, it seems as if all they care about is the money and not the well being of the patient and family. On several occasions I have been disappointed with their services, enough to be dissatisfied. My suggestion would be to look elsewhere for your child's mental health and well being.

This one star is for the receptionists !!! Shame on you ! As most people know once a child is 14 they go in on their own as they are legally in charge of their own mental health. The receptionists tasked with signing in the patients are ignorant and berating . Lots of people who are looking for treatment are working through depression, anxiety , PTSD and many other things . So its sad that the first person they see when they walk in the door makes them feel uncomfortable . My daughter went to sign in and one was on the phone so naturally she went to the other one available . She didn't notice a little hand written note one had placed on her window and sat in the chair . The receptionist went absolutely crazy and started screaming at her and threw a temper tantrum and started tearing the hand written note down. Screaming at my daughter saying why bother no body can read or have respect so why did i waist my time putting this hear. she went on and on and on. My daughter who is 17 felt so embarrassed , belittled , and ashamed . Its hard for some people to reach out for help so the first person they see shouldn't treat them this way. The receptionists need sensitivity training and just basic human decency. Also to add : This is not the first time it has happened to her or I . Its an ongoing issue .

Robinson Counseling Center is the adult division of Children's Service Center!! Neither organization provides housing!!
Only some therapist there communicate by email. So there's no way to email without asking them first and getting the email address. It's not something they have posted anywhere
