Had a blast! Nice place to visit with the family! I recommend visiting the snow park.

Usually very crowded (when there's ❄️). Buy the Sno-park pass. If you park in a No Parking zone, expect a ticket. Either way, CA could use the money.

If you get here early you can have the park all yo yourself... The only thing is you have to drive 15 more minutes to buy the parking permit... Beautiful place !!!

There's no charge 4 tubing or sliding or doing anything else at the snow park. There is a $5 parking permit and you can buy one from the guy making fresh hot donuts or you can get it ahead of time online. The guy selling Donuts told me that the CHP occasionally comes through and tickets cars without a permit so if you don't get one you are taking a risk
There is actually an inn on the grounds
Great picnic areas and places to BBQ. If you don't have your own food, there are vending mschines
There are trails from here that you can take a snowmobile on. There are no rentals here.
Noooo not from wat i seen
Went snow shoeing last weekend, snow is soft and slushy and snowshoe doesn't stay on surface anymore (post holing often). This is 4/8/2021, seems like snowshoe season is over for us.
You need a five dollar permit. There is scarce parking and people will double and triple park you in. Good luck!
Yes.
Should be
Yes. The campsite has showers too but you need quarters to turn on the water.
There are dozens of ski rental shops all over Truckee
We where there on the 25th and there was plenty off snow for kids to play. But there is a storm coming, don't get stuck
