Nonstop auto traffic in and out today at ten am. It had just rained and the trail was probably too wet to be driving on. I parked up by the office on the crushed gravel area. Tried to walk but had to keep looking over my shoulder and climbing off the trail because of all the people that wanted to drive through the muddy trails. At $5.19 per gallon today you'd some people would have some sense but nope. no sense around here.

My family, Jeanne McCann passed with my Aunt Emma Forner, (my moms sister) they both drowned together. This happend before I was born. I honor her like my mom always did. My mom Ella (Forner) McKeen always shared the sad story as she was present that day.

Quiet, lots of shade and trails to walk. Decent fishing spot at the back. Some of the best places to eat and relax were closed off. Hopefully for good reason.

BEAUTIFUL park to visit! Trails r gorgeous & shady so u don't die of heat stroke. U can hop in the Cass River or walk your kayak down plus the jungle gym is great for little ones. I say a wedding ceremony there & it was a beautiful backdrop for wedding pics. Highly recommend.

They only seem to be in the office a couple days a week. I would call them again if you don't hear back within 2 weeks.
