If you want to be seen this is the place to go in the summer. Annoying private beaches box it in. Not much fun if you are older than 26.no way to launch a paddleboard or a kayak. Hard to park.

A great place to spent the day. Bring everything you need cause no re-entry. It is $20 a car for non St Clair County residents and $5 if you live in St Clair County. They have picnic tables, BBQ spots a playground and shaded areas. Go early to get the best spot as it fills up fast!

A nice long beach beside Lake Huron to walk down and look for sea glass. During the warm months they have nice restrooms and showers but these are closed at the end of October.

This is a very nice Park. They keep updating with nice features. They have a walkway all the way down to the water. There is a brand new splash pad,(couple years old, only half of it is working).

What about the State Park at Lakeport . Camp ground off water st by I 94 behind Cracker Barrel .
Yes 20 $ and you can't get out unless you're done if you get out to get something then when you enter you will pay 20 again
It used to stop at 5pm. I'm not sure if it still does.
yes. there are around 8 restrooms you can used for changing... but you need to wait in queue around 5 to 15 min for your turn depends upon crowd. there are showers near to restroom.
I would say the shore is approximately 300 yards long. I would imagine you can swim past the boundaries because many people anchor their boats outside the swimming area and swim from their boats.
I don't think you could smoke on the beach but there's probably a spot you could smoke as long as you're away from people being courteous at all.
No rentals
Yes
Smoking and drinking are not allowed. You can get ticketed and escorted out of the park.
You could but it's not really much to ride on. I recommend following the "bay to bridge trail" instead (follows along the water). Google it.
I was there with my son swimming in the beach and I saw a lady walking on the beach with her dog and let the dog swim in the beach too but that was after 7pm after the staff and the security left !!! even due the signs said no pits
After memorial day its nice love it will be going soon again
Yes
In the grass
no there is not a boat launch area,, but there is just off north street not sure where it takes you though.
There were several people in inflatable rafts on June 4th. Even if it's busy you could float outside the swin area where the boats anchor & float around.
Yes and bring water shoes as the first 6ft of water is big hard rocks lol
I don't think they would let it in the parking lot of it is a big one. Turn radius in and out is pretty tight
On weekend they give you a sticker to put on your car window so free parking
There is concessions there
You probably won't catch much there at the beach. I'd stick to the river by the bridge
In sure you can...If you could carry it from the parking lot
Pets are ONLY allowed on leash in park. No matter what none on beach
U can have alcohol in the park but not in the beach its restricted by the beach police. Thnx
From dawn to dusk.
You are not from st. Clair County they make you pay, at the end of last year it was 20 box which to me is outrageous but this time we went late like after 5 p.m. and no one was in the booth
Yes it is ok.
Dogs are allowed at the park if they are on a leash, but they are not allowed at the beach.
Yes, there is and freshwater sea glass has been found here.
Pets are only allowed on the picnic area as long as they're on a leash. Pets are not allowed on the beach area.
You can park on the adjacent streets, no problem, no cost
It says 10 on the website.
20 per car if you are from another county
Bring your water shoes, this side of Lake Huron is very rocky.
Thank u
There is a dog park north of lakeside. Its called Fort Gratiot Canine Commons. Its 4788 Parker road, fort Gratiot MI 48059. Most beaches here do not allow dogs on the actual beach but in the park they usually do.
$3-$5 depending on if you are a resident
Kraft rd beach is free but limited parking. Can walk to Lakeside from there.
No. But the parking pass is $10 compared to $5 .for resident.
Yes. The beach is open, as it does NOT close for a season, but the facilities (bathroom) do close for the seasons.
Given how HOT IT IS it likely is...call the city of port huron to know for sure.
I don’t see any rule at all that you can’t have alcohol in the park??
