Didn’t even know this park existed. Only 10 to 15 or so minutes outside of lake country. There is a campground there with six different hiking trails along the rock river. I can tell there is not much human traffic on the trails there as a baby fawn walked right up to me. Good place to get a 5 or 10k trail run in that isn’t too crowded.

no there is a river for fishing
Hi Bruce, Harnischfeger Park is still open to the public, however the river is flooding over the banks. The canoes and kayaks have been put away for the season due to the high water. Some of the campsites have been closed due to flooding also.
I believe they use the barn itself as a workshop.
Yes! Great little park for them. They need to update their disc golf and so called basketball court area. Otherwise nice park.
