Edit to respond to HSRI: The pandemic started *two years ago.* Let's see what Oxford says about "walk-in." 1: (especially of a storage area) large enough to walk into. "a walk-in closet." No, that's not it. How about this one? 2: (of a service) available for customers or clients without the need for an appointment. "a walk-in clinic" Well that's more appropriate but it doesn't apply here, does it? If you need an appointment, then it isn't a "walk-in" is it? No. No it isn't. "Walk-in" means you can "walk in" and get service without an appointment. Clearly this organization has a lot of trouble with organization, paperwork, customer service, and that sort of thing. Maybe a great first step would be buying someone there a GDMF dictionary. Christ this is people's health you're dealing with here.

Get a better job, preferably one with health care where the employer pays a portion.. health insurance is a joke all the way around. This place is just a medium. They dont charge you. They get a kick back from going through them. You can always go directly through the source and see what each has available for you to choose. Call blue cross or neighborhood or who ever directly. However dont expect the prices to change much.

HSRI won't be able to answer questions about benefits. You need to contact your insurance company directly by calling the number on the back of your insurance card, or by going online.
If you want name brand your doctor must specify name brand. Otherwise, if denied, your doctor must explain to the insurance company why you need a particular medicine.
You should be able to log into your account online and get one that way. If not and you have to call, good luck.
