Wow, what a GREAT time! It was our daughter’s first whitewater experience, and this 1/2 Day Truckee River trip was a perfect introduction. Jon, our boat’s guide, was skilled, knowledgeable and technically savvy managing us as his paddle crew. He also put both Momma & Papa Bear (me & my wife) at ease regarding how best to handle our hopes, expectations & safety of our child. Can’t wait to go again for sure! Highly recommended!

First time white water rafting and the entire experience was excellent. Laid back, competent, and professional guides who not only came prepared with a full set of fantastically told dad jokes, but also godlike experience and river navigation skills. Not once did the nerves kick in (even after joining the Tahoe River Swim Club 😅) because of the teamwork of the guides and our fearless/adrenaline junky raft leader, Jon Anderson (Sorry we were your first dumb of the season, but wouldn't have changed it for anything). Definitely go rafting with this crew. It's worth it.

We had a blast! 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 11). They provide wetsuits and rain jackets which was a nice surprise. ( we went 6/7- low 70s) Casey our guide was great! He had a fun, friendly, laid back personality but also took safety serious and gave us a great run down of different situations that could come up and how to handle them. The trip is a perfect combo of meandering down some easy going areas while soaking up the sun and beauty of the Truckee River and some very fun rapids that will challenge everyone!
