Really nice beach on Donner Lake. Water temperature is decent, depth is very shallow so kids can swim confidently. A handful of good concession options but the key is to come with tents, chairs and snacks and set up for an all day picnic! Everyone is friendly and having a good time. Mostly families with kids. You can rent paddle boats and kayaks to easily get out on the water with basically any age group. Can get crowded in the parking lot at peak times but the beach never felt too packed.

We have a lot of fun today it’s a little bit windy but we don’t mind, the place is amazing friendly staff well organized place and clean, rest room is ok not that bad my kids love to play the sand and swim in the cold water so relaxing staying in here, not too crowded we arrived 11Am and still have spot for us definitely going back.

wonderful landscape to appreciate but the only thing I don't like it is the parking lots, the space is very tight and small

Staff keep the area tiny and neat. The beach is well maintained and overall friendly family vibe. People are allowed to bring their pets onto the beach so make sure you don't let them loose or off leash. Bathrooms are so so and could you some deep cleaning as well as proper supply stocking.
