Atleast 90 mins, if you stop and read the exhibits
That's true
There is free parking (if available) in the parking lot on the north side of the museum if you inform the gate attendees that you are visiting the AAM. Enter at Gate 5.
Free.... But the fair is going on now, so the only way to get inside is to pay the admission for parking and the fair. After the fair is over (October 23, 2022) which is only a month long, then it will go back to being free. Parking is free and admission is free!
We are working on it!
Yes.
The majority of the exhibit, is sponsored by a family. Their collection of art, artifacts & documents dating back to the 1700s. It basically tracks the African American plight/journey from slavery, to renaissance to civil rights and current. The rest of the exhibit spotlights Freemanville Cemetery. The rediscovery of how the Cemetery was built over to make way for 75, and the recovery of the graves back in the 90's. If ur from Dallas, and u follow ur ancestry. It is definitely worth the visit.
I enjoyed it. It is more about Dallas/local black history. They do change out the exhibits so you may see, learn something different then what I learned. It is free and we should support our history, weather worldly, nationally, or local.
Hi. I would recommend that you call and ask them. That would be the most accurate answer you could get. Please realize that your questions go out to the Google public, not to the organization.
Yes, but it is shared with the fair
We are not having the Blues and Jazz Festival this year.
Really that is great, I believe Dallas has a lot to offer just like the other states.
I have no idea about Senior Discount Day. What I can help you that this museum is free of charge. Thanks!
Is there a fee to get in?
Rodeo tickets are $10 for Reserved seats and $35 for Box seats
It's in April 6-8th
No restaurant inside the museum. The closest restaurants are within 2 miles of the museum.
I'm not sure you have to contact the museum directly and check their website.
