The majority of the exhibit, is sponsored by a family. Their collection of art, artifacts & documents dating back to the 1700s. It basically tracks the African American plight/journey from slavery, to renaissance to civil rights and current. The rest of the exhibit spotlights Freemanville Cemetery. The rediscovery of how the Cemetery was built over to make way for 75, and the recovery of the graves back in the 90's. If ur from Dallas, and u follow ur ancestry. It is definitely worth the visit.
