Took my female dog in that was having a stalled labor (8hrs in labor) back in June. Took a couple hrs to get in where one lady talked with us. Stated gave her meds to introduce pushing that she wasn't (yet was even standing in waiting room mins prior). Said they did x-rays and probed for a stuck puppy but couldn't feel anything. Though pups heart rate and such was fine. 10 mins later another lady came in saying pups was in distress. Wanted us to pay 5k+spay+visit and whatever pups wanted for a c section. When I asked why would I spay her, for the answer to be incase we cut the wrong thing 🤔. After paying the visit/xray bill which had no medication charges. Loaded her up and took to her local vet since would be open in few hrs. Where they talked with them before we showed up. Said that valley told them all the pups were dead, lost 1 out of 7. Then they had to do surgery repair to her somehow torn uterus of only two litters. Wouldn't recommend these money hungry 🤡 to my worst enemy if they care about their pet.

Great staff, took my dog in and got surgery within a few hours. Discharged a few hours later. A bit expensive but that's expected for after hours emergencies and I'm only mentioning it so others aren't shocked because that's totally normal, we'll do anything for our pups! Thank you Valley Vet!

You shouldn't give robitusin to a dog, there are a number of chemicals in it that are very bad for a dogs kidneys. As for what you should give...it matters how it started. Honey really won't do anything either. But it's hard to diagnose over the internet. That said, a dry hacking cough isn't usually that concerning unless it gets wet or goes for awhile.
Of course they do.
Take to vet asap it can be dangerous to your dog. I did not with my cat as did not recognize it almost lost him
My moms dog has been in renal failure and congestive heart failure for 4 years. A lot of it is managed with low protein foods (under 6g per serving), but she also sees her vet on a regular basis. Check out Meadow Branch Animal Hospital (specifically Dr. Marcello) here in Winchester. I have taken all my dogs to him since I moved to the area 6 years ago.
The best thing you can do is get him to the vet asap. I know of no natural remedy that can help.
Yes they do , for just a euth., u take home to bury it is 105.00
I don't think they offer that service. But you could call and ask. Or you could call a cab. They are very helpful and kind there and I'm sure they will help you find a solution. I hope your pet feels better soon.
That depends on a lot of factors. A.visit to your vet is the best option.
If Valley Veterinary does not perform recommended surgery, they will refer patient to veterinary surgeon elsewhere, such as Inwood Animal Center.
