It is the second-largest arena in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area by seating capacity, just behind Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., which has an official seating capacity of roughly 500 more than Xfinity Center.

They added pretty stringent requirements about the size of any bah you bring in, unless it is clear plastic. I started filling my pockets with what I wanted to bring. Not fun, but it makes the ticket lines go faster!

There are elevators and, I'm sure, Handicap parking somewhere. To locate and use it, you would probably need to arrive at least 2 hrs. before as traffic is hectic and signage is sparse. The few employees become busier and involved as larger groups arrive.

There are several entrances at the street level. Park at the designated handicap parking spaces and follow the signs to the side of the main stair entrance. If you need more direction, I'm sure there will be someone you can ask at the event.
No tickets for graduation!
The Xfinity center has handicap parking. I can't say if they will have more available for graduation. You may want to reach out to someone at the school for event specific questions.

Great responses. There's several handicap parking spaces and entry points into the Xfinity center . Most importantly the ushers are always very helpful, particularly to the handicap.
They have a parking garage. Probably best to use metro, the station is under the arena. Gallery Place/China Town station.
The parking lots are for reserved parking passes and they have people to validate your pass. If that person would allow you to enter, you could drop them off at the front steps.
