They added pretty stringent requirements about the size of any bah you bring in, unless it is clear plastic. I started filling my pockets with what I wanted to bring. Not fun, but it makes the ticket lines go faster!
We were there last May. No backpacks but relatively small purse will be OK. They will check it and may confiscate things which, they don't return when you leave. Didn't made me want to go back there ever again, which to this day I have not.
For anyone thinking they could bring a purse, you can't, because the security guards will be scanning you. Well that was what I was told.
