We felt misled by advertising this was safe for children ages 2 and up. The majority of the river is calm, however, the end has very heavy rapids. Our raft got caught on a large rock and took on water and started to sink. My wife, four kids (ages 4, 6, 8, 12) and I had to abandon the boat in heavy rapids in an emergency evacuation. The water was too deep and too fast for my youngest kids to cross to shore so I had to carry them to shore slipping several times in the fast current. My wife and I have several cuts, bruises, and scrapes from falling on the rocks. My children were screaming in fear for someone to rescue us. Not a great experience. I would not recommend doing this with small children.

Absolutely amazing! My family and I go rafting every year. It is so much fun, a little pricy at like $60 a person but well worth it. The experience is a few hours long and is extremely relaxing. I would recommend bringing some sort of aquatic footwear as there is plenty of sport to pull to a side and swim, eat foot, and relax. The more people you have, the better it is. I would also recommend bringing water guns as you can encounter some nasty water fights. People are amazing and it is well organized. If you are in Lake Tahoe on vacation (or if u live there), make sure you plan out a day to go river rafting!

Such a great time! It was me and my 8 year olds daughters first time river rafting. My husband use to live in Tahoe City and has been using this company before. It was suck a great experience, fun, and relaxing. We will totally do this again! The staff was welcoming and friendly.

Staff was hilarious and awesome. I was giggling and impressed the whole time. Excellent family fun. Beautiful water. I didn't want to get out. Bring water shoes if you can it will be MUCH easier and maybe a towel for the seats. Can be a little thigh sticky!
