I was able to get someone early in the morning, i also faxed them a request for replacement ebt card make sure to put your information including address phone number and case number . They sent me my replacement card in 5 days

If you are having extreme issues, be extreme and search Hudson County for the Director and call him. His name is Robert Knapp. He will get you to who you need. Or go to the office, early. 8 am bring a coffee all the papers mentioned above, and be sure your phone is charged. Be patient. If you qualify you'll get help.

You need a letter from your other county with your card number on it and tell them that you have an open case there and that you are transfering to a different county with out any interruptions. Tell them to put passaic county welfare and from the case worker from union put there name and phone number.

It depends why you need to go there. Some have appointment but if you're going there to apply for government help, you can show up. The lines in the morning are very long. My experience is that the lines are gone by 3 PM. I have been there 4 times and I always went after 3 pm.

The way they treat people doesn't make anyone feel like a person. You have to go there knowing what you want and have most of your paper work. Because you can be there all day and/or have bad experience. So have a relaxing state of mind even when you know it's not right just to get what you need. Proof of income or a print out from Unemployment, proof of residence, PSE&G bill, lease, and rent receipt. All have to be current. School report cards for children.
