We've been here probably 10 times, and the folks have, at best, not been friendly or helpful and, at worst, been rude. My husband stopped in today looking for a youth bike helmet, was directed to the one option they had, and was told it "may or may not fit" our child. We always start here in hopes of having a better experience and supporting a local business and almost always end up buying what we need elsewhere.

Tried to get two bikes repaired/altered, and the repair guy was fairly condescending and quoted me prices high enough to just buy a new bike. When discussing a trade in on yet another bike, the front desk guy was also super condescending. No other customers in the store and we are apparently in a tight used bike market, but a 2015 mid-range ($1000 new) bike wasn't the "type of bike our customers would buy".

Crashed my new bike! Bent the derailleur hanger. They got it fixed sane day saving 2 days of riding for me!!!

Sales guys and gals are generally nice here. (And I am nice to them as well.) They're not well organized or focused, though. If you have a challenging issue, look elsewhere.. but if you want to check out a new bike and are pretty sure you know what you want... Or you need a tune-up or simple fix, this shop is good for that. I think the other locations of the BC are a little better...

No, we do not sell mopeds. We do sell Electric Assist Bikes. If you'd like to learn more about them, stop by the store to talk to a salesperson and take a free test ride.
Hey Neil - thanks for contacting us. If your referring to tent that you would use for storage, that would be a good option to protect a bike that has to be kept outside. Leaving a bike exposed to the elements can quickly result in rust and corrosion. Hope that helps. Thanks!
Yes its $100
Yes..
Hey Luis, Thanks for reaching out! We have a number of bikes from both Specialized and Cannondale that would be appropriate for you. Sounds like a hard tail mountain bike might be the best bet. Do you have the time to stop by the shop to look at a few, and possibly take them for a test ride? If not, a phone call would probably be more appropriate than messaging so we could ask you some more specific questions. Let us know what works for you.
Many bike shops won't take a trade-in but bicycle chain is one. As Allen points out they won't give you much. It's a tough resale market for anyone with a bike. Check out facebook market and cragslist to see what people are asking. Not advocating those sites due to the in-person transaction, maybe check eBay as well but the shipping business can make it took expensive, depends on the bike I guess.
They have all the necessary bike parts, probably bolts not screws on a bike
