I would definitely recommend it. It's not the best gym in the world, but it is very good. The staff is nice, the amenities are in decent shape, and it's never super crowded so I always get the machine or weights that I want. This gym doesn't have the newest machines or the nicest amenities, but the selection and quality of everything is definitely above average. The pool and sauna are nice to have, plus a decent selection of cardio, machines, and free weights. There are two squat racks, one of which is open for easy bar removal. They also have a basketball court which seems pretty nice although I don't use it. If you're looking for a powerlifting gym or some other nuanced amenity, this probably won't meet your needs. I wish they would offer more intense cycle classes. I think they are working with limited space and just trying to serve the largest demographic though, so it's not a huge deal. I also wish they had a bigger pool or it was easier to get a lane. They've definitely made efforts to make it easier but again, there's just limited space. Id also like to see the towel service return. They offer a discount to teachers so I don't pay full price. But to me it seems like a great value.

I had 3 plus months of physical therapy with Ryan Swiezy. Ryan was a very encouraging and supportive therapist. He was an excellent coach for me to strive to achieve goals of gaining strength, balance, and endurance. When I started therapy with Ryan, my walking for exercise was limited to about 15 minutes; I can now walk 45 minutes. I highly recommend Ryan.

Great location for kids swimming lessons.

The staff are nice and friendly, and you can always find parking. The facilities are pretty poor, so 1 star off for that. They are missing a lot of machines compared to other gyms. When something breaks, it seems to take a long time to fix it. At least they have a pool. I have never been inside the locker room, so have no idea what happens back there. Another star off due to price and accessibility. They are expensive for what they give, and you get no towel, plus they close early every day and on the weekends. Another star off for the customers they have. There are a lot of old people there cause they don't pay full price. Most of them are good cause they keep to themselves, but there are always bad apples and because of their age and attitude, they are extremely rude. I was cussed at recently for no good reason. You never want to argue with an old person because mental capacity declines with age. I would say about a quarter of the people wipe down the equipment after use. I would not recommend going here unless you are old and get the discounted price.

Hi Steve, Thank you for your interest! Yes, the hours of Silver Sneakers are the same for all members. Amenities vary by membership. Due to state mandate we are only partially open with pool activities, outdoor fitness area, outdoor group fitness classes and virtual and outdoor personal training. We will be fully reopened next week. Reservations may be required and amenities vary by membership type. Please contact our center by submitting your information here: https://www.healthtrax.com/contact-us or call 919.847.2393 to speak with a Membership Advisor and schedule a tour.
Right now I have Aetna insurance and I have to pay $10 a month for upgrade. For basic there is no charge for silver sneakers.
You need some way of paying - credit card, certified check, etc. I'm not sure if they accept cash but, if that is your preferred payment method, I would recommend calling them. They will help you figure out a way to pay. Believe me, it's worth it. If you are a senior citizen and your insurance provides a Silver Slipper program, there is no cost to you for the basic program. It's $10/mo for premium membership.
Until 12p i believe
