***OSHA VIOLATION*** I will be calling corporate in the morning but I feel the public needs to be aware. I stopped in tonight 6/5/22 at 9:50pm (hours of operation are 6am-10pm). I tried getting in when an employee was MANUALLY opening and closing the front door while customers were still inside and exiting. I explained to her I was just there for formula for my child and she kept saying *their* clock says it’s 9:59pm I showed her my phone which automatically shows the time like any other smart phone and by this time of explaining myself and why I still needed to get in during operation hours, it was 9:56pm. There were 3 other costumers behind me trying to come in. I had ran around all day looking for formula and this was my last stop for the night. The entire front staff and cashiers heard my conversation to the lady whom was physically blocking me from entering and all 15 of them were smiling and shouting “WE’RE CLOSED!” You were actually not closed for another 10 minutes and are violating a fire code that all exit doors must remain unlocked during business hours. This includes an automatic door functioning without manual operation when necessary!

I've lived in New Baltimore for quite awhile now, and typically shop at the local Kroger or Meijer. I've since noticed within the last year that the fresh produce section has been on a severe decline. I try and buy fresh fruits and vegetables when I can and when I go back to do my weekly shopping I'll be sure to take pictures, however, I've noticed an excessive amount of mold and debris on most if not all the produce stands. I've since stopped buying those options. My main concern is in leu of the supply chain issues, and I feel like Kroger (and even Meijer) are opting to keep food past their expiration resulting in molded, and expired food. For example, this past Tuesday I had purchased some lemons. There were 2 lemon stands. One stand had lemons full of mold. The other stand was perfectly fine. I'll often see avocados, apples, and other similar things also molded, or soft. Until this improves I won't buy anything more. Despite that, the rest of the store is more or less average. Prices have increased due to corporate greed, and shortages persist because of the pandemic as well as strikes and walkouts due to poor labor conditions and compensation so I don't fault Kroger for those directly, but it is something to note. The same could be said for places like Meijer and Walmart within the Chesterfield/New Baltimore area.

Great!!!! The employees there were exceptionally nice to me. I enjoy going to shop there, no arguing, no hostility, no harsh words, only kindness and care. That is what impressed me the most!!!!! I dearly love each and every one of the employees there. They are just wonderful at Kroger - no mater which store you go to, they treat you with the graciousness of family. That means a world of difference to me!!!!!!!!

Been going to this Kroger for 18 years. The store has gone downhill. Never stocked. Produce is terrible. Prices are sky high. Meat counter is hardly ever open. Lines are long. Better produce and prices at Meijers. Worth the …

Yes. They seem to have a frequent turn over of managers there. I. Staff aren't.much better, I don't.think they really care. I've made a few complaints.both in person and on line surveys. Nothing changes.
Yes. Although if you want to know if it's in stock and on the shelf currently you needed to call the store
