The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and are willing to answer questions without rushing you. You go at your own pace. Very interesting.

It’s a nice museum with beautiful artwork and deerskins. They have clean bathrooms, and a crafting area for kids downstairs. We went during their annual “festival” and they had a lot of activities going on, not sure how much there would be to do without the festival. The people working there were very informative and provided some good overviews.

Nice stuff but not worth $8 to see.

Love Iroquois festival. Educational. Walking through museums shows rich history.

Beautiful artifacts and new artwork using different media. The cat named Little Boy is a cutie. The gift shop runs the gamut for every budget from pencils to pewter arrowhead replicas to one-of-a-kind bone creations. The $8 admission is well worth it. One thing to remember: this museum receives NO state or federal funding, their existence is on donations. They start closing about half hour b4 5pm. And Howe Caverns is right around the corner for more adventure!!!
Hi Kathleen, I would suggest contacting https://www.delawareohiohistory.org/ I hope this helps.
The name has already been changed to the Iroquois Museum.
You may need to do an archaeological site assessment before you can get a building permit. Best idea is to check with your local government offices.
I think they do have pow-woes but you need to check their event calendar on the web site
We enjoyed the history and the dancing for their celebration.
