Small but filled with great info. The only place in our country that helped persecuted Jews. A real eye opener. Some very accomplished people from that group of 1000 or so.....

A bit of American history worth learning about.

A very small, but extremely well done museum which highlights a little known piece of WW2 history. Well worth the trip!

This museum describes the little known events of bringing about 1000 people who fled WWII concentration camps to come to the US on President Roosevelt's order. Charitable events to help and closed-minded actions both happened. It's history that most people have not heard.

There's is no cost. Go over in the weekend when they're open and they'll give you a tour.
Yes they do
They contributed and became upright citizens. My sister- in- laws grandparents were just two of the precious lives that were saved. And this is when America closed its doors tight against them previously. Read about the voyage of the "St Louis", the ship that sailed first to Cuba where they people had been promised a welcome, only to be turned away, and refused here and Canada. They sailed back to Europe and death.
