This place has a lot of history. They carry a wide variety of candies, most of which I've never tried. Customer service is very nice, but nothing stands out to me here. The caramel apples are just too large for my tastes (and are covered in chocolate). The chocolate on some of their candied is softer than I want it to be. My youngest daughter did really enjoy her frozen banana, though. I recommend that you give them a try because I can easily see the appeal. For me, I feel places like Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory are just a little more my speed, even though I like to support local small businesses with lots of history and service to their communities.

Halgren's Candies has been around a for many years. I have many memories of my Grandparents taking me here as a child before my teen years and here I am today visiting still as an adult. This is my favorite authentic candy and sweets shop that sell fresh items only that are made daily. This is my one and only place to visit when I need something special for a special occasion. Their chocolate covered strawberries are amazingly sweet. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The shop inside is always clean and very well organized and is definitely well known to the locals including myself and all my family and friends. Please if you're in the area stop by and give his place to visit and there's no doubt you will purchase something tasteful. I think the shop owners and employees here for doing such a great job for a very long time 👍
