Interesting personal and community artifacts from the area. We always to stop at local museums to appreciate how the community began and has evolved, how the local natural resources were utilized and/or preserved. This place definitely has all that. A MUST READ: check out the exhibit aboutsequins Mr Walt Disney's efforts to build a ski resort in the area -- 30+ years in the making, but ultimately halted by opposition wanting to preserve the seqouias.

On the way to sequoia national park and noticed this museum. There’s also a public restroom and Sequoia shuttle stop here. There are so many historical equipments and vehicles to see. Too bad it was too hot to hangout outside. I only quickly took these photos and ran back to our car.

Hello Amy, as long as we have volunteers willing to work we should be open during that time. We look forward to your family stopping in.
Yes you can park for free. No paid parking exists in Three Rivers! However parking at places like the candy store can be problematic as its packed.
