here is no on-site maintenance. When I first moved in my kitchen sink was leaking underneath. There are permanent stains in the fridge and shower. They must’ve cleaned so poorly because there was still dried stuck on the food on the walls in the kitchen that I cleaned off myself. Picked this apartment complex because of the pools and the fitness center, the pools are OK but only the main one is maintained decently and they close them super early. For example it’s 95° outside today and has been hoy this entire month, and their pools are closed for the year. They are supposed to close them at their discretion based on weather/temperature, but I’m pretty sure a 95° day (over a 90° week really) people should still be allowed to swim and exercise in the pools that they pay for. Also the fitness center as a joke. There is a fair amount of cardio equipment and free weights but no decent weight machines and there is no air conditioning. So I can’t exercise in the pool and I can’t exercise in the fitness facility (which is tiny and not well kept). The only recumbent bike is broken and has not been fixed since the last time I checked. I have cancer and trying to exercise in 95° heat without air-conditioning or a pool is absurd. Also, generally speaking, the grounds are not well-kept, there is often cigarette butts and trash around. There are two laundry facilities but they are frequently very dirty and extremely hot. The only part of the complex that looks nice at all is the clubhouse. I don’t even understand what people would go in there for except for using the free Wi-Fi there. They only make the clubhouse look decent so people want to rent there and then penny pinch everywhere else. The carpet in my apartment was so dirty when I moved in that after walking on it barefoot I left dirt prints in the shower. There was pieces of dried food in the lower drawer under the stove. I really can’t say much good about this complex. The staff were exceptionally rude to me on many occasions. Seriously, don’t live here.

I own Global Pros Services LLC a carpet cleaning company. I had a job there to do for a customer who hired me and i just loved the layout very simple to clean.

This is my first update to the original post. Officially moved here in December 2021. Had black chunks coming out from behind the shower walls. Management says that’s normal. (!?) Had to clean years of crusty grease out of things in the kitchen that would have caught fire if they were left the way they were. You can’t leave anything sitting for too long in the bathrooms because a dark film will build up underneath them. 🤢🤮 Had to call the cops once because a neighbor decided to get violent with his roommate. People are slowly moving in who seem decent, but there are still people living here who don’t know how to coexist with others in an apartment building. Rent is decent. Currently, that’s about it.

I don’t ever leave reviews, but I am so appalled by our experience that I have to share. I’m very disappointed to say my husband and I had such a negative experience. We live out of town, so my husband drove 2 and a half hours to visit with them (called ahead beforehand of course) and to tour the place. He brought all of our paperwork to be able to apply and filled out applications. Because we do not currently have jobs in Kansas City, but are working toward getting them, they refused to work with us. I can understand that policy, however, she was extremely rude to my husband and showed no willingness to work with us whatsover, saying it doesn’t make any sense at all for him to drive 2 and a half hours away to work and then to live in KC (we never said that). My husband is very polite and was just asking questions for further understanding. She left him in the lobby saying she had something to do something and then told him to leave because he was “taking up space”. This is really unfortunate because overall it seemed like a good place to live. But our experience was beyond frustrating.

Water, sewer, and trash are included with the rent for a flat $30 a month. Residents set up and pay for their own electric bill. I'm in a Jr 1 bedroom and I pay roughly $50 or $60 a month; that's with turning the thermostat way up or down while I'm gone to work to conserve costs. Hope this helps!
