No stars because rude behavior of front desk manager and staff member. Just requested to please switch the room, the morning staff switched but the evening staff they never honored that. The evening staff said we can't I don't know why she did this. You just leave and her co staff member said get out or I'm calling police.

First time I have given a poor review of a Hampton Inn. This building seems like it was not built to the same standards as other HI. We were booked on the 3rd floor and as we opened the door to room 304 the noise from children? running in the rooms above was awfully loud 🔊. When I asked for a different room none were available. Then to make matters worse, someone wearing cowboy boots moved in above. As the cowboy stomped and paced back and forth the floor is creaking and groaning like he had his horse 🐴 with him! He finally took the boots off about 10pm. Ahh quiet you would think. No the door fits so poorly anyone in the hallway seems to be in the room with you. Finally some quiet, then you notice that the toilet is refilling about every 40 minutes! 5am cowboy is up, off to the bathroom you can hear everything. Shower then boots on at 5:20! We got up and hit the road. I even called around to other hotels to see if we could move, unfortunately there was some basketball tournament and all were full. I will continue to use HI just not this one. 2 stars not 1 only because the manager went up to investigate the running children.

DON'T BOOK HERE unless you want to sleep in a freezing cold room. The temperature in our room was 17 Celsius or 63 farrenheit. We had no heat and I was with my Elderly father, who is 89 years old, and not to mention it is winter. Once we brought up our concerns to the front desk staff they could care less, apparently this is not an issue. According to the front desk having no heat in the middle of winter is not a necessity. As a physician I completely disagree, it has a huge potential to impact one's health. But according the front desk staff, specifically Britney, they don't think so. The front desk staff are not only incompetent but also unsympathetic. I guess if my elderly father develops pneumonia, I know where to send the bill. All in all horrible stay. I do appreciate the breakfast staff who went out their way to check on our heat and confirmed it was not only freezing in our room, but that our thermostat was not working.

This was a nice hotel. With that being said, there were a few issues. Pros first. The staff was friendly. The room was nice with clean and comfortable bedding. If you forgot something at home, they did have a small complimemtay selection of things for you at the front desk. Now the cons. The pool and the hot tub we out of commission. Vending machines would take money and not dispense beverage. Temperature was hard to control in the room. Staff was helpful for somethings and not on others. All in all, it's a nice hotel but could use a few tweaks all around.
