Beautiful, serene place. I have been many times and still haven't hit all the trails.

I've been going here for as long as I can remember, and it gets better every year. They maintain their trails well, and are always making the place better. Only drawback, is that I can't bring my dog, but with how some people don't pick up after their pets, I do understand why. Amazing place to hike and learn about Michigan's wildlife.

Another gem of the Genesee Parks and Recreation. Well maintained, clean with friendly staff. It has been a few years since my last visit. It was a dusk tour where we walked through the trails ending with a star lit lightning bug show in the …

Use seven dust
Yes the tree house is open everyday. They require staff to be in it for safety reasons they don't want any kids getting hurt or injured.
There is no camping of course and park hours with the gates closed and locked at night. Lots of trails providing a nice hiking terrain. You can view deer and other natural wildlife as well as superior bird watching opportunities.
I worked there when they built it and the dude isn't a show character he is just the same level of goofy all the time
They have a phone number on the door listed to get it unlocked :)
I believe they will help you & if they are not able they know of places & organization that will help with your situation.
Prior to being a nature preserve, the property was owned by the Merkley family, where it served as a dairy farm.
No, there are "no pets allowed" signs posted all over the entrance.
Theres isnt usually costs for thinga but usually very cheap. Typically under 10. Not sure what concert?
This is a nature preserve and dogs are not allowed.
I believe so
Yes!
Only on duty service dogs are allowed in the park
Nature preserve, nothing left, nothing taken, nothing disturbed. There isn't even a place to fish.
Bikes are only allowed on the paved drive coming into the park and the service drive that goes from one end of the park to the other. Bikes are not allowed on the trails.
For-mar does have the name of a honey bee keeper. He takes care of their hives. Give them a call
For-Mar Nature Preserve doesn't have an astronomy club that I know of. Astronomy clubs in this area would include the Genesee Astronomical Society and Seven Ponds Astronomy Club. For-Mar had a moon viewing in March, 2018. Longway Planetarium would probably be the place for telescopic viewing. Hope that helps.
No pets allowed because they dont want any incidents with the wild life, which is very abundant. It is a nature preserve. There is no grilling. But its a nice place for a sack lunch.
Yes, building hours. Tuesday thru Saturday
This is a map program not formar go to the genesee county parks website.
There is only one pavilion......as for renting it you'll have to call and make sure they do rent it out
probably not..
It's a nature preserve. I'd be real surprised if it was condoned by the County. Put the GPS away any take in nature's beauty cache.
No charge for trails. Incredibly great cheap date for kids. I have never been charged for entry to center either, especially for "pit stops.
