What a treasure! I saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert and it was FABULOUS! Sam in the box office was so nice and remembered talking to me when I picked up the tickets at will call! All the staff were accommodating and warm. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area!

I have been pleasantly surprised every time I have seen a show here. Such a cool small theater experience. I am glad it came back post-covid closure I'll be coming more often.

I'm not sure where exactly the accessible seats are, but it's a small theater and whether you're on the sides or in the back you'll have a good view. I bought second row tickets for Little Shop of Horrors and actually wished I was back one or two more rows. The sound is great in there, too!
These seats are on the sides of the balcony. They are comfortable and angled toward the stage, but you will be looking off to one side (or the other) Some people prefer to look straight onto the stage and that is why these are considered obstructed view. There are no pillars or objects in the way. There is a small railing.
This venue performs plays, not concerts
The great thing about the theater is once you get there they will help your situation hopefully would be able to possibly switch your seats. There is truly not a bad seat in the entire place.
We ate at Grassroots and had an excellent beer menu and the food is great
Yes clothing is casual if you'd like
Across the street in the church parking lot, it's not free.
Mercury Theater Chicago offers and intimate play going experience. Our audience is within 10 rows of the stage and they feel a part of the action. We have made musical theater a specialty although we host a variety of productions. Our shows appeal too many different audiences. Additionally Mercury Theater Chicago has an adjoining restaurant and a new cabaret space.
