Beware, if anything goes wrong with your bike, Rad is unable to provide the parts to fix it. We bought a RadCity 5 bike at Rad last November. It has worked for less than 18 miles. It just stopped accelerating. The rest of the time we’ve owned it, we have spent waiting for Rad to either ship parts or provide customer service (neither of which is quick). The latest issue started two months ago, and Rad’s latest response was that a part was backordered and I should continue to wait. These bikes are obviously not cheap, so to get 2-3 total rides out of it in 10 months because it keeps breaking down is infuriating.

I was wary after reading reviews with customer service complaints. We called first to make sure the bikes we were shopping for would be available. Then drove 100 miles on Memorial Day for the test ride and pick up. We were greeted, then wandered a bit before noticing another couple filling out the waivers on iPads. Went out for the test ride and was not disappointed. These bikes are awesome. Decided on the two we wanted to take home and while our customer service representative went to check we noticed the “garage sale” bikes. If we hadn’t poked around and asked I don’t believe we would have been alerted to the sale bikes. We saved over$500 by purchasing two bikes that were returned with no flaws or damage and still given the same warranty. We purchased a fender kit and within 15 min. we were on the bikes heading towards Coronado. Great shop. Good customer service. Easy purchase. Amazing bikes. We ended up with the Radrunner 2 and Radrover6.

The service here is far beyond expectations. Jesse worked hard to help me find a solution for my convoluted problem of losing my Rad bike keys. None of the particular keys I need are in stock anywhere, but Jesse searched and found a single key in the San Diego shop for me! He also went out of his way to mail it to me, although this is not normally done. Jesse has redeemed the RadPower headquarters' reputation for being unresponsive. This shop stands out for providing superior care to customers! Thank you, Jesse!!!

I had a great experience today. Tyler helped me test drive a few bikes and he’s the reason I purchased today instead of going back another day. He gave me a bunch of great advise! He even talked me out of a more expensive bike after listening to my needs. Highly recommend.

I just replaced same part. Easy to replace but sometimes shipping is expensive. New RAD store inImperial Beach has parts and service dept's
If it's available online as a color way, they likely have it here. Not sure about current inventory though.
We picked it up there the same day we purchased. I didn’t ask if they delivered.
Hi Michael, they honored whatever promotion that was posted online with us at their store. Their customer service was out of this world in every facet. From the test rides, the sizing, sales, etc. There is also a referral plan that can save you $50 as well as for whoever referred you.
You can get them assembled or still in their box. Assembled is the way to go!
They have certain bikes in stock and built. You can test ride all the models so you know you are making the right choice.
