We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lure. The camping cabins were simple but comfortable. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the river access is fantastic. Rock hopping, river bank exploration, and swimming holes…we’ll definitely be back. Also a great home base for day trips to the Gold Lakes.

Our stay and trip to the Lure were great! Be prepared for a relaxing disconnection from everything at the Lure. I would give it a 5/5 if the price was a bit lower and if you didn't have to do half the cleaning for the staff. For the cost of the cabins it is entirely worth it up until you realize before checking out you have to basically clean and tear down all the beds and linens. If you stay here be prepared to spend an hour or so cleaning the cabin (we kept it really neat during the stay as well). We had to wash the dishes (understandable) and also put them away after drying (which we get but for over $350/night for the lack of a good amount of standard amenities seems like a bit of a stretch) as well as some other chores. All that said it's beautiful and we'd gladly stay again, but would be better prepared for some of the cleaning that needs to be done before check out. Checkout is at 11, but really 9:30 to 10 if you take into account what's asked.

We had an amazing stay at the Lure Resort. It truly is a hidden gem! Our cabin was in a perfect condition when we checked in and the amenities were more than what we expected. It was lovely hearing the water in the river with the cabin being steps away from it. We also enjoyed watching the stars at night! We will definitely be coming back to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Being unplugged was fabulous and we even had no power. PG&E protecting us from the wildfires (thank you!). Even with no power, it was fantastic. They provided us with a couple lanterns; they still had hot water and the ability to cook on a gas stove as well as gas fireplace. We stayed cozy. The amenities were spot on. They provide a fully stocked kitchen, warm bedding and a beautiful setting along the North Yuba River. My dad and boyfriend fished the entire time we were there! My mom and I did a puzzle by lantern light. However you choose to spend your time at The Lure, you will not be disappointed. We will 100% return!

Hi Tina! So excited to have you up here next weekend! As of right now we do not have public wifi, but in town there are several locations that do offer wifi and there is Verizon service.

I tried calling yesterday, July 31, and this morning August 1. I also sent an email, but have received no reply back. Every time I call the phone rings and then I hear a fax machine town. Is anybody there?
