The managers, Patty and husband are beyond awesome. They have a true and sincere connection to the people. So appreciated. Cabins are very well maintained and supplied . Anything you need is addressed right away and you feel like you have been a friend forever . Thank you for making our stay one of the best.

The cabins are mobile homes made to look like cabins, not charming in anyway. Very little in the way of any extra amenities, and not toddler friendly. Be wary the "cabins" get very hot in the summer even with the listed night time low temps. I called the morning we were making the trip up from San Francisco to check on conditions due to the fires, and felt mislead by the owner when he said "blue skies this morning," and failed to mention all the smoke surrounding the small patch of blue sky. Ashes were falling from the sky that evening. It was uninhabitable, so we left the same night we arrived. I definitely can't recommend Big Springs Resort, or the area, fires or not... on the plus side the brewery in the area is great.

It was nice, small cabin but no air conditioning, only ceiling fan. Location is quiet, peaceful, clean and great exploring Lake Almanor and trip to Lassen NP. The owners are very nice and friendly. They stocked with kitchen supplies, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker but you have to bring your own coffee and toiletries.
