Always great food, service and above all, view. Everything we've eaten was tremendous and tasty. Grab a glass of wine (or local beer) and soak in the only restaurant in Lake Almanor that's directly on the water. We've never stayed the night at the resort, but if they put half the effort into the rooms as they do the restaurant, I imagine it's fantastic.

The food was a little more expensive than I think it was worth (although very good) and the scenery and staff was amazing. Kids menu was good and there is an outside water spot for ur dog

Whoever was working on Wednesday, July 20th about 1pm is a literal angel! We came from out of state, and were camping locally over there, and my phone, and vape flew into the lake when the wind overturned an empty raft we had, and she was so helpful and patient the entire time I was in the store! I will be back to do my shopping there the next time we are in the area! Mind blown at the friendlyness of this area!

So disappointed in Plumas Pines would give ZERO stars if possible. Wanted to bring my friends from out of town for a nice dinner. I raved about how nice this place was. Made reservations for 7:30 and didn't get sat until 8:15. It was busy so it was understandable that service was slow. So while waiting I sat at the bar to get drinks for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids, and continuously watched other people walk up to the bar and get drinks. I was ignored for 15 mins before I gave up on the drinks. Our table was ready after more waiting and we sat down. We waited another 35 mins and no one came to take our order or acknowledged us what so ever. We ultimately decided to leave as we had two little kids who were getting hungry and now it was 9 o'clock at night. I was the only one who had been to Plumas Pines before, it being my husband and friends from out of town's first time. My husband said he will NEVER go back because that was his first impression. Super sad. The only nice thing was the view. I have never left a review like this or had this bad of service ever in my life. I'm very patient and always try to be kind to the service industry. Do better!!
